This ornament isn't for everyone; obviously if you are trying to forget that 2020 happened or are dealing with significant personal loss, you are going to want to avoid these kinds of markers. But if you are looking for a 2020 ornament to commemorate something of what the whole world has been through, this is a great little piece. It looks classy in its own way, which only adds to its subtle ironic humour. The ornament itself uses little glass arms attached to a blown glass globe, but that means it's a little larger than you might expect, since the "virus" tentacles add about three quarters of an inch on each side to make for a wider diameter than most Christmas baubles. Even so, it's not too large, and it is currently holding pride of place near the top of our tree.

This unusual decoration has pride of place on our tree. It is absolutely beautifully made and looks amazing.We buy one new decoration each year and this is one of my favourites.Well package and arrived promptly too.

Love it! I didn't like any of the tacky cheap looking ones that pull fun at the last year... The ones with loo rolls on and "the year of lockdown" written on it. This oddly enough has a classy look to it, even though its been the symbol of 2020 and reminds people of how bad this year has been. Just a little reminder and nod at Christmas of those we lost to a hideous disease, so they will never be forgotten.

Lovely idea but the first thing I had to do was superglue one of the spikes back on, after the packaging pulled it off in the protective card board. Luckily it didn’t break the surface of the ball

Well packaged ornament came in good condition. All the spikes seem well attached. Surprisingly heavy but shouldn’t be an issue for a sturdy branch. Unique and memorable gift/Christmas bauble for years to come.

I’ve been looking for a suitable ‘tribute’ to the coronavirus that has blighted 2020 and finally found this. I’m delighted with it - I was hoping for a glass blown ornament but this is the next best thing and a world apart from ceramic loo rolls and miniature hand sanitizers. Sadly I’m not sure there are any more available.....

Our family tradition is to get a new bauble each year. This year we chose this. It is absolutely stunning and beautifully made. We can not wait to add to our tree this year

Arrived today but had one part of it broken off and put in a small bag inside box!Someone must have opened it to look at it, broke it and put the part in a bag, cannot understand it.Will try to repair it but overall, a bit disappointed - especially considering the pricepoint this item is sold at.
