2 X C24JB Ergosoft Colouring Pencils with Johanna Basford Packaging - Assorted, Pack of 24

I bought these because they were cheap and so didn't have any great expectations, but they did surprise me with their vividness.The colours are very nice and lay down pretty well. There was little wax bloom with these until I had 5 layers or so, and to expect anything better from this grade of pencils would be unfair. I imagine that a little odourless mineral spirits would allow a few more layers but I didn't have any.The blend nicely enough, though not enough perhaos for really serious artwork.I am about to take the plunge and by the polychromos 120 tin and although these aren't in that league I think they might come in useful now and again for the odd spot of colour.So, maybe not for completing art work as such, but for colouring books of any kind or sketching I think these are pretty good.If you can get them for the £6 I got them, you'll be getting a fantastic bargain!

I am slightly disappointed in these pencils given the previous reviews regarding the concentration of pigment in the colours. Some of the colours are nice and bright, but others are a little muted. The red, for instance I don't find rich enough. They certainly aren't as bright as the images supplied on the sale page would have to believe. They do blend well and the range of colours is pretty good - it's difficult to see a need for a much bigger range of colours than 24. I do like the triangular shape and the coating on the pencils makes them very nice to handle - possibly the best coating I've had with pencils.I should have read the info properly as I really wanted them to come in a tin, but these are just in a disposable card board box. They are ok for the price I paid and serve my needs, but I will look at shelling out for premium quality pencils when I next need some.

I was given a colouring book for Christmas and wanted to get some nice pencils to colour with. I have muscular dystrophy and find holding small pencils make my hands ache so I'm not usually a pencil colouring person however these pencils are a triangular shape which makes them comfortable to hold. The pencils are also really smooth to colour with which also helps. These pencils have really changed my mind about pencils and I love colouring with these.The only downside, the packaging is so pretty but not very practical to store the pencils in as the lid opens easily and the pencils move around, but that's more of an excuse for me to make a pencil case now for them!

Nice colours that blend well. But most of the pencils were broken inside to such an extent that I had to repeatedly sharpen them only to find the coloured tip was broken again and again. After two days of use some of my pencils were only 4 inches long! Poor quality. Cannot recommend.

A lovely soft pencil with the triangular grip which is surprisingly comfortable to hold. All pens and pencils should be shaped this way. The coating on the pencil is hard to describe but it creates a non slip surface which adds to the ergonomics. My only complaint is that there aren't enough purples!

Fantastic pencils wish they did a 72 pack as I love them so much. excellent selection of colours by far my favourite pencils will be buying more in the future as I use them so often.The pencil coating and triangular shape make them so comfortable to use. So smooth when colouring larger area don't leave distinct lines when colouring lage area a very smooth consistant finish. I would recommend these to anyone with a clear conscience.

These pencils are the real best last longer do not keep breaking I use them for Adult Colouring Books as I am retired and cant get about very much

Good pencils! However! It's not clear that it does not come with the oceans colouring book. It's literally an "edition" of the pencils. Maybe I was a fool to think you'd get both for such a price but sadly I've now got lots of lovely pencils and no colouring book! Amazon please put the book in the "frequently bought together" section!
