Tillandsia Air Plants Ionantha Rubra Red - Collection Indoor House Plant Flower for Gift Present Special Occasion

Arrived today, has been soaked for an 1hr, now letting it dry before i can position on my drift wood with other airplants. Not as bright as i was expecting hoping that will change but still a lovely air plant. Happy with item. Seller responsed to my queries very quickly.

The flower arrived in good time, the root was barely attached, and the instructions were followed to the letter. It said soak for four hours in tepid water, no indication of temp given, the Internet suggested between 36 and 40 Celsius. It was soaked for 3.5 hours. Once removed from the water the root and six of the leaves dropped off under their own weight. It was put to one side and allowed to dry naturally, once again on removal several more leaves detached under their own weight. Plant is very fragile and I'm really not sure it will recover. No direct contact with seller available. Disappointing

My first word was wow! Very pretty pink/red colouring. Was a little flat but survived being put through the letterbox as the packaging is really good. The note inside said it may be a bit flat so I did as it said and soaked it for a few hours in tepid water and I think it has plumped up a bit. It's a decent size for a new one - compares to one I bought locally recently. There were a few dead ends to trim and a couple of leaves were removed completely as there were not looking so good, but that's all mentioned in the instructions. I'm really quite pleased - let's hope it grows to be even more impressive.

Fell appart, flattened in box ,followed instructions and it fell appart looks as if it's already dead
