Sugar Wax Firm Paste, Coarse Hair & Brazilian - 32 oz

I ordered this after failing many times trying to make some at home. I got the firm stuff and it works beautifully. I didn’t heat it up in the microwave or anything. I just pulled out some and worked it in my hands until it was soft and a bit sticky. I was so impressed with how well it worked! After using it for a while it would sometimes be too soft and not pull away cleanly, but that was a very minor inconvenience since it rinses off so easily. Overall 10/10 experience. This is sooooo much better than wax strips

This is my second time testing out sugaring with no prior experience waxing or anything. I've discovered that sugaring is very messy and can take a bit to get right. For other beginners like me that find this difficult to work with, I suggest getting some epilating strips and a spatula. Both were a lifesaver for me! The strips really help in getting a good grip on the wax to rip it off quickly. The spatula helps apply the wax correctly. For this product, I microwaved it as instructed and was able to use it successfully right away. I did have to microwave it a few times for about 8-10 seconds during the sugaring process as well, to keep the wax at the "toffee-like consistency" the directions describe. There is A TON of product for the price. My first sugar wax was from Sally's and it was a tiny little container that lasted maybe two or three uses, and cost more than this product. This sugar wax is definitely an excellent value. This one also removes body hair on the first try. I'm mainly using this around the bikini area because I have sensitive skin and tend to get razor burns. I also like that this product is all natural so I'm not worried about breaking out or putting unnecessary chemicals into my skin. I have a feeling this product is going to go a long way, but when I do eventually run out, I'll definitely be purchasing again. This one is a must have!

This wax compares well to others in areas of cost, volume, efficiency, ease-of-use, and packaging. For about $24 (at the time of purchase), I received a product that has lasted me over 6 months. That being said, I’m a 5’4 slightly curvy woman who self waxes my legs and arms once a month, arms and face twice a month, and recently started doing Brazilian waxes every three weeks. I continue to use this brand over other sugaring brands because the value for product is good, it comes in a very well sealed package, includes an applicator, and it’s great for pros and beginners alike. This wax grew my confidence and allowed me to be completely independent in my hair removal without spending tonnes of money on product. (I’ve only waxed once before using this with SugarDoh, and honestly I prefer this product.) I would recommend using firm wax as I find the older the product gets, the softer the wax becomes. I find the applicator is a bit flimsy and prefer to use a knife. Otherwise this product is fantastic, and I highly recommend!

I have never used sugar wax before and I have to say this product was a great experience. I did struggle in some areas on my own but the good thing about the product is that if you get scared about getting hurt you can wash the sugar off and prevent injuries. If you are unsure about how to use the product videos can help and I would say it’s easier to use then traditional hard wax and also easy to clean up.

The tub is bigger than I expected. It should last a good while. A little "blob's of the stuff goes a long way, and it's so easy to clean up. My daughter and I used this on our legs. It took a while to get it to the right consistency for it to work without making a mess of ourselves. I heated it up in the microwave for 45 seconds, and it was too warm to work with. We figured out that it worked better just pulling it out of the tub cold. It's super hard to do, but it's easier to work with once you get it out. I did my full legs with her help on the back parts, and she did hers from the knee down. I don't think I'll ever shave again! And, doing it yourself will save a ton of money since I found the going price is $80 for full legs.

This is not easy to work with. It has to be the perfect temperature in order to work. Even if you start with perfect consistency, your body temp is too warm and will warm it up as you are applying making it too sticky where it will not come off your leg or remove hair. Also I am developing a blister from the "flicking". The flick cards that are provided are too flimsy to use with product. Needless to say, I am still hairy. I will stick to waxing. Clean up is easy though, just warm water.

An incredibly difficult product for someone unfamiliar with doing sugaring at home. No matter what the consistency was the stickiness got everywhere and was difficult to manage even while a more soft consistency. While it did remove some hair, it was frustrating that the result was inconsistent even with longer hairs and pulling against the growth of the hair. While someone who has more experience than me might enjoy this product, it’s something that I am likely not willing to use again.

Okay this was my first time ever waxing so I definitely have a lot to learn but I’ve learned that the wax is easier to handle without gloves and it can’t be too warm when you use it I’d say microwaving it 30 sec is enough, it can’t get messy but again I have a lot to learn. I did get a few bruises but my legs so so soft! Even after a few days! I used it every where I am now as soft as a baby seal 🦭 I will definitely continue using and learning how to use it

If you know how to use sugar wax the cold way, you will like this product. It's not firm-firm, but firm enough, perfect for legs and armpits. Takes awhile to start ashing, I was impressed. It took me just an hour to do my legs, when previously took 2 hours per leg with my old sugar wax. Great behavior on the knees. Overall really impressed, comfortable to use. WILL NOT WORK FOR BIKINI!! It's not firm enough for bikini area, most likely will get stuck on the first try. The packaging is uncomfortable in the long run, but for me it's not a big deal since I liked the product. Attached picks of my legs and knee, nice clean result.

I wanted to leave an honest review on this product due to so many one star reviews…. I honestly think everyone who is going to try sugaring needs to either go get sugared first and ask questions or watch a lot of videos and get some experience. I’ve gotten sugared for a year now and I’ve decided I don’t want to spend the money and I’d rather do it myself at home. So I asked my girl for some tips and she gave me plenty. First of all, STOP MICROWAVING YOUR SUGAR!! when you microwave sugar it heats from the center out, therefore it isn’t heating through properly. Use a container or a tub of warm/ hot water and keep it in the water until you’re done your sugaring session. This way the wax will stay the same temperature and will remain applicable. Soak in a warm bath the day before annd exfoliate! The day of, dry brush the areas before applying and do not shower or use any lotions! Also USE BABY POWDER / ANY POWDER on your skin PRIOR to use!! It will absorb any moisture/ oils! You need to apply the sugar in the opposite direction of the hair growth and swipe it 2-4 times before pulling adjacent to the skin. You can go over the same spot multiple times since it is made for sensitive skin. Make sure the sugar isn’t too hot too! Apply a small bit to your wrist to test the temp. I used the firm sugar and started on my legs and found it was a little too firm for the process because it makes it more painful. So I placed another order for the all purpose and I am going to mix them, this will make the sugar the perfect consistency for my entire legs, Brazilian and armpits. I will be giving updates when I receive the All Purpose sugar tomorrow. And will add before and after pictures!

i used this product for underarms it worked very well and left a very clean finish. You do need to know that The area turns red when and after waxing, but will go away between 5 to 10 minutes so don’t get worried when you see a lot of redness. The package was very hard to open at first because the lid was attached to the sugar wax inside. I did quickly try it on my legs, and I did receive a little rash (which went away) but on my bikini line and under arms no just redness. I would recommend it as the pain level is much less than normal paper waxing and others. Your hair will grow back much slower, and once you get used to this type of hair removal, the pain will become less than less and it’s a much better choice than shaving.

I bought it 2 years ago and started using just now and I want to say that this product is wonderful. I actually expected that the quality may deteriorate after storing it for such a long time, I wouldn't leave a bad comment if it was like that, but in fact it's still great and works perfectly! The sugar was a bit softer on the top, but honestly I stored it in my bathroom where it's quite warm and humid very often as I love hot showers, but a bit deeper the sugar was firm and easy to use. Overall, I would really recommend it to people who know how to use sugaring paste, as I believe that bad comments are mostly from people who are not very experienced in this type of product.
