nice color, and is very aromatic for a culinary ...
After trying a few different brands of matcha, this will probably be the brand that I'll be sticking with. This brand is very high quality. It has a fresh taste, nice color, and is very aromatic for a culinary grade. As an every day drinker, 1 bag will last me exactly for a month. From my experience, this matcha mixes very well with almond, cashew, coconut, and rice milk. It pairs best with unsweetened coconut milk. The only slight downfall is that this matcha requires vigorous mixing and doesn't always completely blend; despite how finely ground it is.It doesn't really have any measuring instructions or serving sizes on the product packaging so you'll just have to find the best blend yourself.1tsp Midori Spring matcha, 1tsp stevia, 1tsp agave nectar, 16oz unsweetened coconut milk (or liquid of your choice) is the most reasonable recipe I've found so far. Since it is a culinary grade, it will taste very earthy; somewhat like a mixture of spinach and grass... But this is matcha so it's too be expected. However, unlike other culinary brands this matcha didn't have an overwhelmingly pungent or astringent taste; it actually had no astringent taste while drinking or aftertaste. Thus, it only needed to be lightly sweetened. But if you're used to other 'latte' matcha powders with cane sugar or other fillers and ingredients listed before the actual 'whole green tea leaf' then you definitely won't like this one.

Healthy food
I have been using it for couple months. I eventually quit the coffee. I didn’t feel headaches anymore. Green tea is better than coffee.

A Tasty, Good-For-You Product
Well, I have been mostly drinking it as straight tea, and I like the flavor. I guess some would not, but I enjoy it.I've also made a couple of smoothies with almond milk and additional flavorings along with the matcha, and they were great. I'm glad I found your product, and later I will purchase some ceremonial-grade to be sure.

This is an excellent balance between cost and quality in my opinion
This is an excellent balance between cost and quality in my opinion. You will pay up to twice as much for a comparable product from other manufacturers. I've tried many and I will settle into this one for my twice daily regimen. The ceremonial grade by this manufacturer is a bit smoother, but there is no difference in the health benefits. If you can get used to the taste of the culinary grade, you will save up to 33% off the price and still find an enjoyable product.

Taste like tea...but a bit salty
Compared to another matcha that I purchased, I can definitely feel the better quality as soon as I added this one to hot water. There aroma was stronger. The taste however, was a bit salty. I have just started to drink matcha and I don't know much about how to identify whether it's good or bad (or if it should taste salty). However, this was definitely better than the last matcha I tried =D

disgusting, brown, makes my tongue numb
This stuff is absolutely disgusting. I can't believe I spent $20 on this, I literally want to throw it out because it's completely undrinkable. First off, the color is basically brown, and my lattes come out this weird muddy shade of pale green. I used 1 tsp combined with 8 oz coconut milk and 2 tsp of sugar and it was still chalky/grainy, bitter, and bland. Tasted nothing like matcha and everything like some weird, bitter, grainy protein powder. It also made my tongue feel numb after I drank it, like in between sips. Extremely strange. This stuff is absolutely disgusting. STAY AWAY.

Enjoying this
I have really been enjoying the product, I use it to make breakfast smoothies. I have to be up at 4 a.m. and smoothies really perk me up especially when they contain matcha. I put about 4 tsp of it for a 32 oz smoothie, I get a slight taste of it but can't really tell especially when I put pea protein in them. I'm really satisfied, this is the third matcha I've tried and so far it's my favorite and the price doesn't hurt the wallet so much either.

Excellent Matcha
I tried Midori Spring Matcha after the price went up substantially on the brand I have been using for a couple of years. To my very pleasant surprise, this brand is smoother than the brand I was using! I drink it in hot water with a little cream and find it to be delicious, even though the brand states that it is only culinary quality. What a great find!!
