Old fashioned candy never goes out of style Bought for Easter it’s not just for Christmas

This has been out of stock for quite awhile due to a company named "Quality Candy" buying this brand out back in 2019 and it has made its long awaited return, made my order, finally got my box, I still had alittle bit left from a old box I had before the buy out and compared the RED (cinnamon) ribbon candy and there is a big difference between the old versus the new... the old had the straight cinnamon candy taste... the new? it taste like cinnamon but you can tell its very different, it taste sort of like im eating some type of chemical on the candy, the taste is way off, and its different the old pink ribbon always tasted like a peppermint/cinnamon combination the new pink ribbon? i bit into it and was ready to experience the same... a few seconds later, I was appalled and tasted strawberry?? What in the heck happened? I dont think this new company that purchased out Sevigny's is just good at all, they flavors are different and like everyone else, yes mine came broken in pieces also and it felt sticky and its bad where you cant even break the ribbon in pieces that you want, you gotta put alot of pressure just to finally break a piece off. If anyone has any recommendations on other ribbon candy that comes close to Sevigny's, comment in my review because I want something that is exactly or closely taste like the old classic Sevigny's ribbon candy that I use to know before this new ownership took over.

The item was as described. A lot of places selling this candy seem to have old candy. This seller however has good fresh candy.

I paid for this ribbon candy for a Christmas gifts for a dear friend. It is one f her favorite memories from childhood. When it arrived I placed it in a bag along with a few other gifts. And then gave it to her. She opened it up to the disaster that are in the pictures. She then informed me that the candy was inedible. So not worth the money a spent on it and if I could give it 0 stars I would!

My wife loves this candy, however it was delivered in a box with no (0) bubble padding. This caused many of the pieces to shatter during shipping.

Very disappointed that the product arrived all broken into small pieces. The ribbons are thin, and although they are good, they really took a beating in shipping. If you want candy to display when you offer it, I would look elsewhere.

For Christmas my wife put out an old candy dish that her mother used when my wife was just a child. She remembered her dad putting ribbon candy in the dish and how she and her sisters would sneak pieces throughout Christmas. I found this ribbon candy and she was delighted. Even better was that it was quite tasty and even arrived with few broken pieces. A 65+ year old family tradition revived this year with this beautiful, tasty ribbon candy!

I absolutely love these candies they haven't changed through the years..but they came broken..

Product is fragile, and was reduced to shards in transit. No care or attention paid to the packaging used to transport this fragile item. There is a 'no return' policy. Overpriced. A real disappointment.

I love the taste , just like it use too. The only think wrong is , it was broken up a lot.

Horrible product It arrived in just a box no bubble wrap to protect the delicate item, candy is broken and looks like some is even missing! Waste of money
