TPMS is a new way to monitor tire pressure and temperature for your car in real time. This Tire Pressure Monitoring System comes with a digital monitor, a bracket holder, DC charger. It has a customizable criteria feature for tire pressure and temperature, which lets you set how you want pressure and temperature to be read, for example in Bar, PSI for pressure and Fahrenheit or Celsius for temperature. It also quickly reacts to abnormal changes in pressure and temperature. The transmitters are waterproof and dustproof Feature: Wirelessly measures Tire pressure & Temperature in Real Time Quickly reacts to abnormal pressure or temperature Waterproof & Dustproof sensors; Customizable Tire Pressure Monitoring Criteria Sensor Alarm system included For use in your car.1.3inch OLED display with battery power easy to install without disassembling your tires Specification 1,Pressure Range:0-8bar; 2,Tempe Range:-40°C-80°C; 3,Press Unit:psi, bar 4,Temperature unit:°C, F

TPMS Works - Mostly
I bought the TPMS kit primarily for use on my Kubota L3010 tractor (30 hp) because the valve stem for the rear tires are difficult to access and it is easy to avoid checking the pressure regularly. However, most farm tractor tires have a slow leak, and eventually they will go flat. Getting a tractor tire off the tractor and repaired is a big deal. However, when the unit arrived and I saw how relatively large the sensors are, I have been concerned that they will get knocked off by the rough way I use my tractor and I have not installed them in this use yet.Instead, I put them on an older truck (Chevy Avalanche) that did not have TPMS and which I have found to be very useful on my newer vehicles. The took about a month to arrive because it was shipped by surface mail from China. It was well sealed in shipping tape and had an import declaration on it that said it was a "toy car." I guess this may be to avoid some import duty. There was a manual, but only in Chinese. I contacted the seller through Amazon and they sent me a link within a day to an English language manual. The instructions were a little confusing, but I was able to get it working. The blue LED screen is barely visible in daylight, but shows up adequately in low light. I contacted the seller about possible ways to adjust the brightness and was told there was no adjustment, but that the unit would make an audible alert if the pressure went outside of the settings of temperature or pressure. The temperature alert setting was confusing because only two digits show. So if I want to set it for 150 F (which might be possible in South Texas), I adjust the setting so that it says 50. The first digit is not visible and it is 1. Okay, I probably will not worry about the temperature that much anyway. The "charger" provided with the unit is just a USB A cable to round DC connector. It is up to the user to supply USB power outlet. Since I do not have a USB outlet on my tractor or my 2003 Chevy, I ordered a converter for a cigarette lighter outlet for the Chevy, and will just have to wire something up for the tractor.Overall, I am satisfied with the experiment. If I can order more sensors without the kit, I might try a few on the tractor to see if they will hold up, and I will move the display between the two vehicles as needed.
