Have taken after given month supply from my PA. Bought and took for awhile. Then literally forgot its name. But just bought from Amazon May 2020, felt better in short time period. But ALIGN comes in A BOX with blister pack sheets with all INFO : Lot number, Best by date. IF A CONTAIMATED BATCH caused problems for long time users, Don't be afraid of AMAZON! HECK ON BOX has www.pg.com phone number 1-800-208-0112. If in doubt! Call Proctor and Gamble at above number and tell them lot #, exp date. If indeed problem with batch they need to know, and you need to be confident that you are taking AUTHENTIC ALIGN. Probable to copy blister packs, but it's a multi step process to seal the capsules. Hey, I'm not saying there are some creative bad people out there. But looking at my blister packs, info on them (lot #) with phone number on box. There's no reason to not call the 800 phone number. This is a great product and works well. The problem is that if you purchase it alone and it is shipped by Amazon, they will put it in an envelope. The box is not sturdy enough to protect the blister packs and they get smashed. If you open up the blister pack, the capsule is cracked open and all the powder goes all over everything. I had to order it twice to get a good product to use. Better to order it with something else so they ship it in a sturdy. box and not an envelope.

This is the brand that my gastroenterologist specifically recommends for my IBS. I have not always taken it consistently, but I notice a difference when I stop. I recently was sick, and prescribed an antibiotic that I never took before. It wreaked havoc on my digestive system, making me incredibly sick. I went back to this to get things back on track, and it started to help quickly. It is not cheap, and I know there are cheaper options. But I have tried the cheaper options, and they don't seem to work as well. Some don't seem to provide any results at all. My doctor says that he believes in this brand, and that he sees the best results from it, and that he uses it personally. The package arrived to me in pretty poor condition-it was packaged in one of the paper-ish padded envelopes. Since it is a thicker box, this didn't work so well. The box of Align was crushed pretty badly. The blister packs of pills survived, so I guess it's ok. But it didn't make me super happy to have my package arrive like that. But that's not a reflection of the product, only the packaging method used.

My daughter’s gastroenterologist recommended this specific brand of probiotic for tummy issues. I’ve used others and so has she, but apparently there’s some patented part of this that makes it work better. Combined with something called IBguard, which contains peppermint oil, she’s seen improvement. I only used it for three weeks but couldn’t tell much difference from my regular probiotic. Then again, I eat yogurt and am a different person. Align is packaged on foil-sealed cards with individual doses labeled with the day of the week. Much easier to carry with you so you can take doses consistently and don’t skip or double doses. These also stay fresher than bottles which may or may not call for refrigeration. Great packaging, and this box features a lower cost per dose than I’ve been able to find so far. I’d say it’s worth the higher price for what you get (in this size) if you don’t see the desired improvement with other brands. If you have tummy issues, try this. I believe the gut doctors know what they’re talking about with this. After all, you’re wasting money on a product which loses efficacy the minute you open the bottle. Or if you get the dosage days confused or leave the probiotic at home. Recommended.

I originally bought these on doctor's orders because I got severe, severe diarrhea from taking amoxicillin. Hard to tell if they helped. But this time around I am taking it three hours after I take my new antibiotic. Very little diarrhea. Honestly don't know if that is because I am on a different antibiotic or because I started the probiotic at the same time as the new antibiotic. The answer could be both. I intend to buy it again when I run out. WARNING: In case you didn't know, you should start or continue with your probiotics while taking antibiotics. But you need to wait a minimum of two hours after ingesting the antibiotic to take the probiotic. This is because the antibiotic will interfere with the efficacy of the probiotic.

I've had bad Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) since I was a child. I would have diarrhea multiple times a week with horrible pains and cramping. I would spend hours in the bathroom and it negatively impacted so many aspects of my life. My parents and I tried everything--tracking foods to see if I had triggers, cutting out gluten, cutting out dairy, cutting out eggs, low FODMAP diet, EVERYTHING--but nothing seemed to help. I didn't hear about probiotics until I was in college and a new gastroenterologist recommended them. This changed my life. As long as I take them every day, ideally along with an Activia yogurt, my IBS episodes are cut down dramatically. I still have attacks occasionally, but it is night and day from what it was before. I will be taking Align for the rest of my life and I pray they never stop making it! It is truly a godsend. Whoever invented these probiotic strains, you have my eternal thanks. I would highly recommend that other IBS sufferers try Align or some other probiotic. It doesn't work for everyone, but it certainly worked for me.

I know the jury is still out in the medical community as to whether or not probiotics are actually helpful. I don't know if they would be helpful for everyone or not, but I wanted to give Align a try for some issues I was having. I chose Align because a gastrointestinal specialist had once recommended it for my elderly father when I had taken him for an appointment a few years ago. Anyway, I thought I'd give it a try. I began to see a real difference within just a few days, and I'm very pleased. In fact, I just ordered for the second time.

I am now in my third week of using Align. It has been very effective in helping me resolve some gut issues and making my BM's very regular. I have tried other probiotics - other brand names that claim to have so much more beneficial bacteria. Those other probiotics seemed to be very harsh in that they caused painful bloating and gas. I could not tolerate the pain of the bloating. But, I continued trying different brands with the same sad ending. Finally, I came across the Align brand. Since starting the Align, I have had a little extra gas, but no bloating or pain. I am very satisfied.
