The authors reference how different Christian groups define Holy Spirit in different ways. Although they reference Acts 2:4, no where do they explain the proof of being baptized in Holy Spirit is the evidence of speaking in other tongues (heavenly prayer language, supernatural language). Jesus told us we are going to do greater works. Come on, we need to be baptized with power from on high and fire so we can do the greater works (heal the sick, cast out demons, etc.). Supernatural language is a gift from God. Faith must be exercised to speak with tongues because the Holy Spirit directs the words we speak - He literally takes over our tongue.The Apostle Paul practiced what he preached. He said, "I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all" - 1 Corinthians 14:18. Paul encouraged Christians to speak in tongues during their prayer time for spiritual edification/building up.Some will say tongues is demonic. There are demonic tongues, but those are spoken through demons, not the precious Holy Spirit.The people accused Jesus of casting out devils via the devil himself (Luke 11:15). Whom is telling you tongues is not for today or evil? Or maybe your church doesn't talk about it at all? Be deceived no longer. God wants to give you your supernatural language - it's a gift.I declare you receive new revelation about the Holy Spirit now. I command the blinders off your spiritual eyes and mind in Jesus name.
