I ordered these for a craft project, lining the inside of a small wood box. I intended to use the sheet to line both the wood and the foam insert I was cutting and shaping. I didn't anticipate that the felt and adhesive would make these more like a sheet of card stock than just fabric with adhesive. They are somewhat inflexible and difficult to work with if you want to use them for anything other than flat surfaces.I used upholstery foam for my project and the adhesive took some time to bond with the surface, sometimes deciding to fold over and bond with itself before it bonded with the foam. This is just a matter of the fact that the foam is so porous that it doesn't offer the ideal surface for a good bond. I am sure I can make these work for what I want.

I have a Revenge from Mars Pinball machine. If you are unfamiliar, it is a regular pinball machine, but with video reflected onto the glass from a monitor up in the back box. Unfortunately, light from the bulbs on the playfield reflect off of shiny metal parts (and to a lessor extent plastic parts) and it tends to interfere with the reflected video. To resolve this, I bought this self adhesive felt and stuck it on the different metal and plastic surfaces. (These surfaces are all vertical so the felt will not affect play.) There is now no ambient light reflection making the mirrored reflection from the monitor stand out more.This felt sticks to surfaces very well and I found it very easy to place it where I needed it, but it is very thin. Only time will tell how durable it will be in places where pinballs strike it. There was plenty in the package so I have extra that I can use as replacements.

I realize it says velvet. BUT it also says felt. It’s not felt! It’s quite thin too. I cut it on my Cricut with the ‘felt’ setting because I didn’t want to change blades. Fine-point blade works fine. I repeat, It is not felt, so make sure it is compatible with your project. I can use it for mine since it’s only for the backs of arabesque Christmas ornament tiles any way.

I used the material to line the backs of the sections of a shadow box. Dividers were not removable so every section had to have a rectangle cut to size. The material is easy to cut and to lay flat without wrinkles. It is thin, a little stretchy and forgiving so a bit of imprecision it the cuts could be compensated for. The finished effect is very low key, more dimensional than chalk paint but not plush…exactly what I wanted.

I bought this originally for a Halloween costume. I’m writing this review because it’s so adhesive and easy to use that I’ve used it more than I ever imagined. And still have tons left! This is just handy stuff to have around for a myriad of uses.

I was disappointed in this product. Perhaps I didn’t read the description thoroughly but it was a lot thinner than I had imagined. It actually feels like paper coded with a black spray that is supposed to feel like felt but does not. The black coating I like him to something you find on a greeting card that is supposed to be soft. The entire package of papers had a large wrinkle down the middle.

This was the perfect product in almost every way. I think the only thing we would change would be making slightly thicker. The price could not be beat, so we definitely got a great value for our money. The project my husband was working on was all but complete. All he needed was to line the inside of the keepsake box and it would be done. It is now done-a beautiful and finished product. Thank you!

I needed something to allow me to put a cushion between drawing triangles and rulers for use on a Boogie Board. When I first got the velvet, I wasn't sure I'd purchased a this enough weave. But, I tested it out on the Boogie Board and Viola! perfect. The ability to draw the outlines on the paper backing then cut with scissors and adhere it to the tools was PERFECT. Just what I needed!

Excelente calidad y adhesividad. Muy fácil de manejar. Lo uso como base para apoyar los vinilos (discos) y limpiarlos lo cual los protege contra rayaduras al apoyarlos en una base plana. Muy buena calidad

el producto es muy practico y sobretodo de calidad para los trabajos de bricolaje y similares, simplemente cortas lo que necesitas y lo aplicas sin defectos (sin pliegues o defectos)..muy recomendable
