Men's Peakfreak X2 Mid Outdry High Rise Hiking Shoe

I absolutely love these boots. They're light, flexible and completely waterproof. I can go on long walks in any weather and feel confident that I'm not going to get wet feet, blisters or any leg/back pain. I can even run in them, they're the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned! After reading other reviews before purchase I decided to get a size bigger (am a size 5 and bought a size 6), so would definitely recommend doing that for these boots as they've been down to come up quite small (especially when you factor in thick socks and feet naturally swelling on long walks).

These boots were great at first and saw me through a dozen hikes with no blisters and dry feet. Unfortunately they’ve already started to fall apart after 130 miles. I expect my boots to last 500 miles plus so this was extremely disappointing, especially at this price point. The stitching has come away at the toe box. The boots are still in 1 piece but are no longer water tight. Well looked after, cleaned carefully with water after a muddy walk and only used on trails. Might be ok for light use but if you’re a keen and frequent hiker, look elsewhere.

I love the techlite, outdry range. This is my second pair albeit a slightly different style and colour but i've had loads of walking boots over the years and these are my favourite

My husband loves these boots, and apart from a slapping noise that they make (something inside? Difficult to locate), and they have been perfect for the first few weeks of 5-7 mile country walks. However, the right boot has developed a hole as stitching has undone over the outside of the foot. This is disappointing! He is going to attempt to stick the material in an attempt to hold it together. Stitching on a practical boot should be robust and for that reason and the interior slapping noise, I've marked them down....

These boots are brilliant. I have owned and abused 5 pairs of walking boots and these are the best by far.Light, comfortable, well made and look good.I’ve walked over 100k in these now and they take everything thrown at them. So comfortable and light. Truly waterproof.Not advertised as warm boots though so wear a thick pair of socks in the cold.Brilliant overall.

Ok summer boot. Set out on Pennine way and had to replace the boot. Once wet it is built like a sponge and holds far too much water within its structure hence takes days to dry. Otherwise fine for dry or single day use

I have been hiking some 200+ of miles a month over last few months.These boots are very comfy from the first step and reall waterproof too!

Perfect. Supportive, comfy under foot, excellent grip and completely waterproof.Not really a mountain boot, but for trails and long walks etc they are spot on.
