This is a small but effective blaster. I am a dog groomer and I am finding it’s very powerful but not too loud that is scares the dogs. It comes with a selection of nozzles which are easy to attach. You can adjust the heat settings and the speed easily, I also like the fact its easy to remove the filter. Build quality looks good.

Well what can I say I was a bit dubious when I saw this as I’ve seen others much more than this one,tried it on my heavily moulting husky and it got rid of a lot of his hair that’s before I washed him ,be careful where you use it or your neighbours will not be happy ,I had mine on half way and it did the job it was on offer so I got a bargain .just wish I had bought it earlier would have saved me a lot of money as I have 7 huskies so grooming is expensive this pays for itself in its first use

we have been trying to grow our lhasa apso's hair and have been using a human dryer. This cuts down the drying time massively! it is so powerful that if you turn it on on full pressure, the hose blows off! therefore you need to have it on a low setting when first firing it up. I understand now why my lhasa always used to look so much better when leaving the groomer.... its because you need the proper tools to do the job! I use on lower setting near the face, as it freaks my dog out if it is too powerful near his face. Does not get really hot, more like a warm summer breeze. it's a mean machine and so powerful it gets right to the root of the hair, without having to comb the hair apart. would highly recommend if you want a very fast drying experience .

Only used once so far but I was literally blown away! My GSD didn't like it but got better as I was using and the more I use it the better she will get. Used it to dry her after swimming in the sea and it is amazing. Powerful, effective and cuts drying time with a hairdryer immensely. I'm also hopeful it will remove loose fur when moulting.

Love this product, its fairly quiet for a high velocity and the noiseless attachments really help to dry and straighten the coat quickly. The ability to use the heat function or not is a bonus. This creates good versatility whether doing young pups and old dogs a little more sensitive to heat or airflow and competition dogs. Good value for money compared to other dryers and seems to be close on power compared to the twin motor dryers also. Only had for a week but hoping it will be durable and stand the test of time for a part time groomer.

I bought this dryer in an emergency as my existing high velocity drier had started to smell of electrical burning and this was delivered next day, it would have taken a week from my normal supplier. I have other Shernboa products which I like and are good value. Pro’s Multi speed so you can adjust the force of the air flow Very quiet at low speed Powerful and would be great for blowing out heavy shedding double coats like GSDs, Husky’s etc Light weight Has a heat sleeve on the nozzle to protect hands Comes with 3 nozzles Easy to clean filters Con’s Very very noisy on full power, could be standing next to a jet engine! so will need to wear defenders Takes a long while to warm up The nozzle is about 30cm long which is a bit of a problem and unwieldy trying to dry smaller dogs Hose is quite short Quite expensive Not sure about the build quality, very plastic, and how long it will last in a professional salon. My last HV drier is 10 years old. Edit - I’ve now downgraded this drier to 1*. I’ve been using this drier for a good couple of weeks now in a salon environment, light use, drying medium and small dogs. It is so unwieldy and uncomfortable to hold, it’s started to affect my wrist and I’m having to wear a wrist brace to protect my wrist. I know I lot of groomers have wrist trouble - if this is you, I wouldn’t recommend this dryer for everyday use.

Works perfectly for my two poodles. Powerful and effective, the high speed drying function reduces drying time and removes matts whilst drying, whilst the variable speed mode ensures minimal anxiety when drying the head and ears.

Used twice so far so good, easy to use, drys my Akita effortlessly and control of the air flow is ideal around my dogs ears. Very impressed.

Excelente secador. Funciona súper bien. Es ruidoso, pero en unos 10 minutos tienes al perro completamente seco y peinado. Para un pomerania va perfecto. Muy buen producto.

I have a Pomsky at home who has a double coat. I have used this dryer 4 times and each time I was "blown away" by how well this dryer works. The quality is top notch. I really love the ability to change the speed of the blower. The different attachments are very helpful in what area I need to dry. I would highly recommend this blow dryer to anyone who has a dog. You will not be disappointed

I wanted to wait to review this until I actually used this dryer. I was torn between the flying pig dryer and this unit but when this dryer went on sale it sealed the deal. It was half the price of the Flying Pig, and has heat. I noticed someone said that the heat wasn’t enough. I beg to differ. It’s perfect. For context, I have a miniature poodle on the large side. He’s had a couple of seizures at the groomers (too much excitement) so I’ve decided to do my own grooming. I was afraid this dryer would be too noisy. I’m happy to report that it is not loud at all for what it is. I had it on the medium setting and it’s quieter than my human Dyson hair dryer. My guy handled it like a pro and the dryer did a great job straightening out his curls. I didn’t time it because my concentration was on keeping him quiet and relaxed so it wasn’t in my mind to set the timer. But I’d say it took about 20 minutes to dry him and I took a lot of cuddle breaks. I also bought the stand for this model. Together, they cost the same as just the Flying Pig dryer here in Canada. The dryer stand was easy to put together, is solid and a great investment. No complaints there! I don’t know about what professional groomers use, but for home use this dryer is outstanding. recommend this product!
