I set this up as a venting system for my Uniformation GT3 Ultra printer, and the way it handles fumes is excellent. The charcoal bed is thick enough that it completely scrubs the air, so those chemical smells don't stand a chance of taking over the room. It has a sturdy steel mesh design that allows for great airflow, and I really like that the pre-filter cloth is detachable so you can keep it clean. It’s a simple, effective piece of gear that connects easily to 4-inch ducting and works exactly like it should.

Works as described, you can flip this one to give a bit extra time. Easy, good value, I keep one running permanently. Possibly Replace every 1.5 grow? But that's just my results.

This is a game changer. Looks amazing and the build quality is top notch. the air flow is great even with the sleeve on it. this isn’t the cheapest filter on the market but you pay for what you get, and this speaks for itself. I use this to get rid of the smell of my plants and it completely eliminates the odor. however i actually bought a second one to use for my soldering station to filter out the lead smell and possibly particulates from the air above my work station and it seems to be doing the job perfectly. this not the cheapest, but certainly the best 4 inch filter on the market.

The reversible flange isn't airtight that's why I put 4 stars . I duct taped the inside between th hard plastic and flange to fix that .at end of First week of flower chlorophyll smell and "WHAT NOT"was bad so bought this and after installing I have now zero smell coming out of tent .works good with 195 cfm fan. No seriouse reduction in suction or nun noticeable anyways . Not bad for first day for the money will update in a month if and when it stops working but all around seems like solid product. My order came with no loose carbon and I couldn't hear it even shift when I shook it so I feel bad for those negative reviews who got a 1 in a 100 bad product I wouldn't shame this 4in by 14 filter just yet. If u feel u purchased it and sum the ain't right ur probably right it happends return it tight away don't wait till ur screwed. Then that's on u. But mines workn fine . Can't even smell the lavender in there . Oh its a 3ftx3ftx6ft tent with 400whps and 195cfm fan I have all being filter through this 4x14 vivosun carbon filter. I'ld as of now buy again.I just mite run two exhaust cause the price is there and my tent running 95 degreesI hope this review was helpfull! I tried to give the best of my knowledge so far. The smoke detector always gives false alarm when cooking in a small studio…. My friends recommended a fan combined with this filter and it works amazingly great!!! No more smoke alarms during cooking!

Removes cooking smells pretty well. no more waking up in the morning coughing from the roommate cooking. Just a teeny bit of smell thats much more tolerable.

Excellent filter works very well in my 2x2 and 2x4 tents last a long time

My kitchen does not have vent ducts to outside. I recently installed a range hood that does not have recirculating function. This carbon filter allows me to use the range hood without having to cut holes in cabinet, ceiling, and roof. I was quoted for several thousand dollars for installing new air ducts. This filter and a 6" rubber connector cost less than $100.

High quality and an absolute bargain at this price. Used this as an exhaust filter for my spray booth and it is highly effective! Highly recommended.

Dit filter geplaatst als vervanging van een canfilter dat na ca 1 jaar geen geur meer opnam. De geur was daarna inderdaad onmiddelijk verdwenen. Echter na ca. 2 dagen was de geur weer steeds duidelijker waarneembaar. Filter erg snel verzadigd?

Air was leaking from the bottom and the top from the cover connections with the filter which made the filter not filtering not all the air was filterd. Not good sealing between the filer and the covers.
