I ordered 2 packs May 1,2024. I used them on our backyard siding and along the inside of our 6 ft fence. They worked perfectly. I have just ordered two more 8 packs and they all work. They give great light for letting our dogs out at night. They also help with security as they are motion activated. I recommend them.

I bought 16 of these about 10 months ago, and mounted 14 of them along my fence in the back yard. Figured I'd have 2 spares when ones failed. Well, almost a year later none of them have failed. They have survived snow and rain like champs. I have them all set to be dim all the time with a bright light when they see motion. They all work well, and by morning, even during short winter days, almost all of them are still on. I do have a couple close to a tree that see the branch motion and turn bright that don't make it to morning, but I guess that's to be expected. For the price, these things are great, and highly recommended. Final note, the 'dim' light does not light up the back yard, just enough to see the outline of the fence. When motion activated, they are very bright and light up the yard. They are only bright for about 30-45 seconds after they see motion, but that is enough for me.

These are the third variety of this type of solar PIR activated lights I've purchased and installed and are, overall, comperable to the others. Due to the raised 'nipples' around the rear case closure screws, the supplied 3M branded double-sided adhesive mounting tape tabs are not quite thick enough to enable one to apply appropriate activation pressure. The two I used tape to attach are holding so far, but I'm not confident the adhesion will last since the design flaw just noted precluded me from being able to apply what I consider normal pressure to properly set the tape adhesive. Though all eight arrived with enough battery charge to test, and all eight lit, two quit working after mounting when tested the following day. Now, after leaving those two turned off for two very cloudy days to allow some battery top-up, they test working. I'm hoping these continue to work as well and as long as my other two types. Though mounted in a very shady area, when set to only light upon activation by PIR, they still work fine. Mounting options supplied are two screws with matching hole expansion plastic slugs, and the prior mentioned 3M tape of questionable thickness. Some others I have here included magnets embedded into the four corners on the back. That option is handy for some temporary readily movable applications that this version lacks. Having some of the LED lights aimed at an angle downwards but somewhat to the sides is useful in some locations. Other similar quality ones I have here have lasted about four years - so long that the UV light caused the cheap plastic window over the solar array to become so foggy as to dramatically reduce charging capability, until I re-polished them with tooth paste. If these match that performance, they'll be the best value price/unit I've found. The included manual is printed on a font large enough to read without external aid like magnifying and the instructions are clear and easy to understand with no blatant examples of 'chinglish' ;-} So far, good. Still working four years later Really great product I have them scattered across the yard. They have great distance after four years they lose “ time “ as they don’t seem to stay on in the morning Before the first three years, they’re really great that I have added magnets to mine so that I can mount them and easily use them as a flashlight in certain areas! Like I have one on the outside of a trailer and when I go in, I just pull it off of the metal and it’s automatically on as I walk into it but they were great and the trees and it’s nice to walk around the yard with them on so excellent product

Love these lights. We use the mode where the light comes on at sun down and then when there is motion it turns to the brightest setting and then back to the medium. You can use these many ways. You can just use them as motion lights. There is also a dimmer light setting that can be used that would come on at sunset and brighten with motion. Perfect way to light up your yard with solar lights. No wiring involved. Easy set up. Comes with screws or heavy duty sticky patches to hang them.

These lights are great! Set on motion sensor and they work like a charm!

LOVE THEM! It took me 3 tries on Amazon to find the perfect lights. They stay on all night and the motion detection is perfect for when I let my dogs out at night, so bright. I highly recommend these babies. UPDATE: They no longer stay on all night (I haven't even had them up for a month). Every single one on my rear fence is out by midnight. That doesn't help me at all when I let my dogs out. I'm downgrading my star count from 5 to 3.

very simple to install come with sticky pads but I just used the screws that came with them and you get extras they will snap if you happen to over tighten the screw I used the second click which leaves them on a low light then they turn on high with motion and go back to low light really nice and sufficient lighting happy with my purchase

1 did not work on arrival (15th May 2024) and 2 more failed today (18th July 2024). Very disappointing product and I would not recommend buying it.

1 out of 8 on the set is not working. 1 of the light is not functioning and broken. Most likely problem with the battery or with the recharging
