I think another reviewer had cracked the code, saying for unisex Martens go down a size from your normal for women's. They are correct. Normally a 7-7.5 and the 7 is like clown shoes. Toes nowhere near the end of the boot. Otherwise they seem well made, will update after I receive a size down (6).Update: Yep, the 6 in women's is perfect and finally a pair of these fit perfectly. Very comfortable and no blisters after several days wearing with regular boot socks.

I had been looking for a pair of everyday boots and I think I found the perfect pair. I am from Texas and I wear a lot of expensive cowboy boots but sometimes you don’t feel like taking those out, so I decided to give the dr. Martins a try, and they haven’t let me down. I love wearing them to just about everything now, I wouldn’t say I love them more than my cowboy boots but they are very useful and practical. They are a little on the heavy side but that’s expected from boots. I was also surprised by how durable and comfortable they were. I will be buying another pair!

Love these boots! I normally wear a size 7 and bought a size 6 women/5 men with Amazon. They fit so perfect! I bought a size 7 at the Dr. Martens store for $170 and had to return them as to big. I checked to see if Amazon had these boots, which they did and over $60 cheaper then buying from Dr. Martens store. So happy with the color as well! Great buy!

I've had docs in black that I bought in my normal size 8. They were quite big. So when I wanted to try another pair, I got black patent in 7. They fit but they are a bit tight. I decided to try some brown boots. I ordered an 8, thinking about my patent leather pair that was tight. At the last minute, I also ordered a 7 to see if they might fit differently since they are a less stiff leather than patent. The 7 fit my regularly sized 8 foot like a glove!There is a breaking in period - the tops cut into my legs but I expect that will lessen after a bit. My left foot is slightly larger than my right, and the heel cup digs into the back of my ankle, but nothing drastic. This, too, I expect to go away in time.Overall, the brown leather is gorgeous and the boots fit amazing. There isn't as much arch support as I might like, as a former ballerina with super high arches. But I'm hoping the sole will mold to my foot shape as time goes on. If not, I can use some inserts, no biggie.

Had low rise Dr. Martins years ago and decided to go with the boots. Great decision. Comfortable, sturdy, and well made. Perfect for wearing half laced.

Alright. I read a lot of reviews to figure out if these were true to size. Most people say they are. I normally wear size 11US in sneakers, but there was a “like new” size 10US pair here on sale, so I took a gamble. They fit perfectly. Maybe a little snug, but not uncomfortable (toes not touching toe box ). So, yes, they run big. Order at least a 1/2 size down if not full size, unless you like a good amount of room. Otherwise they seem fine, a little stiff but just need to be broken in i suspect.

Ture to the size, perfect fit, no need to break in, comfortableThis crazy horse is waxed leathers, so I apply dubbling wax for water protection and the color change to beautiful shining two toned dark brown & black, I like it.Doc is leaning toward fashion boots rather than working boots, have no shank, difficult to resole, leather is just ok for the price.I personally don't like to walk wearing the boots that have no shank. I buy this boots to use in office only. It is still the style that look classic and I love it. I will enjoy for few years, throw away and buy new Doc that is fashion boots meant to be.

My husband is very happy with his ‘doc’ Martens!!! Excellent fit and quality; exactly as I had hoped!!!!!

Classic Dr Martens in a nice woodsy brown shade. The leather has a nice finish, runs about a size larger, I normally wear a 5UK and returned these for a 4UK. Keep in mind that the leather will stretch a little with time & this model is unisex so its slightly wider than a women's shoe.
