Love this! Great quality! I ordered more after using up the whole bottle. Be careful as dogs will have an allergic reaction to it if they happen to lick just a tiny amount after it’s on your hands. Even after it is absorbed by your skin. I use it on my face and body. Keeps my skin supple and smooth. No breakouts. Sugar causes breakouts I have noticed with people I know. A lot of info out there about the benefits of castor oil.

This oil has done well for my hair. It doesn't smell great, but I like that it's thick.

I am an African American female in my 50s, with fine hair. In the past, my hair suffered from over-processing and I spent approximately 3 years with hair weaves. Unfortunately, the weaves had taken its toll on my hair and my hair began to bald on the top in addition to the edges thinning out even more. I was given this product by a beautician but it sat on my shelf for a year while I tried to cover my hair with wigs. I went natural and no longer have traces of relaxed hair so I started using the JBCO. Well, well, well...after 1 month there was a noticeable difference so I ordered more from Amazon. It has been approximately 6 months since I started using the product and the bald spot has filled in so much so that I now feel comfortable wearing my natural in public with twist outs. Here's the kicker, because it worked so well on my hair, I decided to thicken my thin eyebrows. I applied it to my eyebrows at night and massaged it in for about 2 mins and viola...my eyebrows are full and beautiful after just 5 weeks. My edges did grow back; however, because of too many years of abuse, they will never totally fill in completely. I agree with other reviewers; there is a smell, somewhat of a burnt odor. I did some research, the smell may be due to the ash that is added from roasted castor beans into the oil. This product works but you have to develop a regiment. I use it every other or third day. I use it sparingly and massage the areas for 2-4 mins. You won't see drastic changes overnight but give it some time and the difference will be incredible. Packaging, as always was great with Amazon and shipping was free and delivered in 2 days with Amazon Prime.

This stuff is no joke. The Sunny Isle Extra Dark Jamaican Black Castor Oil is thick, rich, and feels like quality right out of the bottle. I warm a few drops in my hands and massage it in—no need to overdo it or your hair will feel greasy. I’ve also tried it on dry skin patches, and it works wonders there too. The scent is natural—slightly roasted or nutty—but not overpowering. It’s not “fragrance-free” but it smells like real castor oil. I expected it to be bigger for the price but it’s actually pretty small. That’s my only complaint about this. Other than that it was packaged really well, and a lot of people say it’s not that easy to wash out, just have a a good shampoo and your fine. I use as a hot oil treatment but as the base, since it is thick use carrier oils to lighten it. Prepare for thick long healthy hair 😊 I recommend putting it in an applicator bottle for application. (It can get messy) also good for eyebrows and lashes too with a spooly/q tip. Overall good product just small.
