They are really comfortable Chelsea’s, martens tend to be a little stiff at the beginning but this ones felt like they where worn for a few months, so they fit true to size. I walk quite a bit at work and on a daily basis when I go out, so they are comfortable enough for going out. Honestly I got them like a week ago and I can’t stop wearing them, I will get another pair in a different color asap. I would get them again for sure. They are worth more than you pay. I haven’t tried them on water since it doesn’t rain that much but I would feel comfortable enough to be in the heavy rain with them since they have just a little bit of elastic cloth. The sole feels solid and with grip. Also, they’re not warm at all, I been wearing them in the Arizona Desert in the summer in temperatures of 100-110 and no problem at all, so safe to say that the isolation it’s perfect.

I’m a Doc Marten fan that has multiple pairs. These have become the ones I wear the most. Comfortable, stylish, and quick to put on.

I ordered these to wear on my trip to Portugal. I usually wear a women's 8-8.5 so I ordered these in an 8. They came in the original box, with the Doc Marten tissue paper inside that I'm used to seeing from buying shoes at an actual DM store. The opening at first is a bit tight to slide your foot through but it does give a bit with each wear. The toe box was quite spacious and I'm not sure if that's because it is a unisex boot. I felt like if they offered half sizes a 7.5 would fit better, but a 7 would be too small. After going up and down the hills in Porto and averaging 7+ miles a day for 6 days in these my feet were fine. I did develop a hot spot on one of my heels but that was from another pair of shoes I wore out for my hiking day trip. Even with that hot spot, a little bandaid and my new boots my feet were ready to walk another 7miles. It rained off and on throughout the trip and my feet stayed dry and I didn't feel like I would slip on the cobblestones at all. Would recommend buying these while they're on sale if you can.

I needed some boots for warehouse work on concrete floors while another pair was resoled. The leather is thin. The insole was extremely thin and offered no cushion or support. I had to replace those immediately after 1 day of wear. The yellow thread has no real purpose as the soles are glued in not actually stitched. The ankle shaft tapers significantly. The boots are flexible and comfortable straight away without a long break in. As a genre chelsea boots are super convenient, but after months or years of wear the elastic always frays and stretches compared to regular boots. Here is no exception. The boots are a matte black leather. After less than a year of wear and alternating pairs of boots, the heel counter cover is fabric and has worn through and the heel counter itself is a cardboard which has degraded. As a result i can no longer wear the boots without them hurting my heels if worn for extended time. I paid 86 dollars for these boots. I would be upset if i paid 130 or whatever the full retail price is. They are not particularly well made and they are not made to last. They served a purpose well enough for a short time. There are definitely better options out there depending on your needs, but in terms of what you can get for 86 dollars, this is an okay option. Though that says more about the economy than how good these are. These boots are more comparable to a pair of black vans sk8 hi tops than durable and capable boots.

I haven’t found any reviews here regarding these shoes being used for work. I work in a kitchen and needed a new pair of nonslip boots. My previous pair of Dr Martens (Winch NS) lasted me 4 years of casual wear but broke 2 years into wearing them daily in food service before completely breaking beyond repair. I was expecting a miserable break in period, but after one week the shoes are relatively comfortable. I work 12 hour shifts often and haven’t experienced any pain other than usual fatigue. The snug fit and material helps to keep water out of my boots, I haven’t had any issues with wet socks even after working long dishwashing shifts. I was hesitant on buying these due to the lack of reviews about the nonslip soles. These shoes are definitely nonslip. They hold up well on water and oil, i’ve experienced some skidding but the same can be said for my last pair of nonslip shoes. I’d recommend for the first few days to double up on socks or wear a pair of thick socks. On top of that, wear socks that go above the shoes to stop the top from rubbing against your bare skin. I’m unsure about the longevity of this style of shoe in the kitchen yet, if I experience any breaking faster than expected I will update my review here to let y’all know. My last pair with similar soles broke one and a half years after I started using them for work. UPDATE (10 months): The soles have split at the arch of the shoe. I believe this happened probably 8 months in. It doesn’t affect wearing them at all, but is worth noting. I had the same issue with my last pair of Docs, and I wouldn’t say this is uncommon. We had a day in the kitchen where there was flooding, and my boots were submerged in a little under 2 inches of water for 5 hours. My feet were completely soaked. I didn’t expect these to be fully waterproof, but I honestly wasn’t expecting that much water to enter the boots. They are somewhat easy to clean, but for food service I will probably go for a different material next time I have to purchase a pair.

They are a little stiff at first but nothing unexpected and they break in well. My son says they are very comfortable. They are well made and very functional. They are heavyweight with a heavyweight sole (as expected). The heel is a little taller but again it is exactly as I expected it to be (just like in the pics). My son loves these boots (look really nice for school and church). These seem like they will last a long time for everyday wear. They were incredibly affordable compared to other short boots like these (AND bonus bc these boots are NICE REAL LEATHER). So happy I made this purchase!

Normally I wear Blundstones and love their comfort right out of the box. However, they have polyurethane middles that easily rot after a few years. I saw these for sale and decided to buy them. They are comfortable, but not as broken-in feeling as Blundstone straight from the box. The leather is thick and feel quality. Its a heavier boot, but that also lends to the feeling of support. The reason I am giving them 5 stars versus my Blundstone is the fact these can be resoled without tearing down to the leather.

Bei Gr. 45 statt ich vorne direkt an, da fallen sie doch etwas zu klein aus. Nun in der 46 hat der Zeh genug Platz, aber es ist alles etwas weit. Ich habe mir mit einer einfachen Felleinlage geholfen und es sitzt nun super. Ansonsten ein sehr bequemer Stiefel mit weichem Leder und sehr dämpfenden Sohlen. Mit dem breiteren Absatz eine klare Abgrenzung zum Original - weniger klobig und etwas stylischer....

I adore these boots! I bought an 8.5 and that’s the size I normally wear with shoes. They are comfortable and I didn't have to break them in. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

Very nice boots but I got the wrong size

Boots are a little loose but not enough for me to go down a size. The first wear was a little tight for about an hour but easily worn in. Would 100% recommend.
