The remote works with my Roku model 2 and my model 3, only thing missing is a hot key for HBO Max and volume control

Simple, no-frills remote. Works well, out of the box. Works with Roku Premiere.
This replacement remote from Young is a simple, no frills remote that works with a variety of Roku boxes (but not streaming sticks or TV's). It works fine out of the box (just needed to put the AAA batteries in it) and works well with my Roku Premiere. It feels similar to the stock remote, although button placement is a little different. There are shortcut buttons for Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, vudu, Pandora, YouTube and Crackle. The buttons feel a little more clicky, but for the asking price (currently less than $6), I can't complain. If you need a cheap replacement for a lost or broken Roku box remote, this is a good option.
