Liekkas Handheld Rechargeable Solar Lantern with LED Flashlight and USB Charger for Phones, Gold

Great for tent or camper camping. Mine has been on three camping trips to northern Arizona, Sequoia National Park and southwestern Colorado now. A very versatile and kinda sturdy light. We use a D clip to hang it from the top of our tent, set it on the picnic table and carry it to the well you know... The white light brightness which is considerable, can be adjusted by how wide you open the lantern feature. Be warned ... It didn't charge our cell phones adequately even under the California sun. Still it is nice not worrying about batteries.

This is cool as a gadget. It is very bright and everything works as advertised. It is bigger than I realized. The cylinder is roughly 3-4" in diameter. So, this is a chunky light. That's fine when you use it as a lamp. I have not taken is camping or really had much cause to use it. Consequently, I cannot say if the solar panel actually works like it's supposed to or even address if it is rugged or even if it runs as long on a set of batteries as the marketing material claims. What I can say is that it is an ingenious design. It is also light weight and bright. I was happy with the purchase and would be willing to buy another.

my last lantern broke four months of heavy use every weekend been dropped several times so not faulting it so much but this one is even better the lantern is bright enough ( barely but adequate) the flashlight on this rocks! the lantern will keep you from tripping over stuff but hang over you cooking area can really see not just make do . and recharges during never used day never used plug to power.it my new must have for camping.Id say the lantern gives a 15 foot radious glow ( as good enough to see by not read though) and the flash light brightly illuminates fifteen foot wide beam hundred foot distance.I gave thsi review originally five stars becasue i charged it with plug then i tried to charge solar and did not work

The idea of this product sounds good but solar charge doesn't work very well and the USB port to charge your cell phone only connected but did not actually charge.

Omg this thing works great. I was surprised. It's cute as well as extremely useful. Recharges three different ways, I always use the solar panel and it's always charged and working.

A handy little light. Kinda' cheesy but what do you want for 13 clams..plenty bright enough in "lantern mode" and the flashlight works out to a fair distance.I use this in the back of my Cherokee when packing up after fishing, set it on top of my Jeep and it's bright enough to get my canoe squared away in the dark.It's always charged, haven't tested it to see how long it will last on a charge, but it works well enough for what it is.No regrets with the purchase, packaging was solid enough.

Excellent!!! This is exactly what I have been looking for. I can't wait to travel home to present it as a gift to my mother who is still using the old fashioned lantern that uses kerosene. She will not be worried again about running out of kerosene and not having matches to light her lantern. I also like the fact that you can use it to charge your phone too. I bought four of them to give out as gifts. Perfect for camping and in rural areas where there is no electricity.

Worked well until the battery died and then it never recharged
