This light worked great. The clamp is strong. The settings are easy to adjust. There is a good range of color temperature and brightness settings. I used it during some long video calls, and it worked perfectly! It's my first ring light. I thought it might be too small, at first, but it definitely kept the shadows off of my face far better than a single point of light would have. Overall, very satisfied

Super easy to use and assemble as long as it’s plugged in it’s working. It’s very sturdy. Easy to mount just has a little clip on whatever you’re using like a laptop or a tablet creates a very bright picture quality is extremely portable. I can take this thing anywhere on the go to do my remote teaching, and it was at a fair price. I love that you can turn the light up or down and also use a white light or an amber light.

I did really like this light, after having tried so many, this was sturdy, perfect lighting and my favorite of the many lights I've tried for zoom calls. Updated review to reflect helpful seller. Original Review: I really liked this light: adjustable warmth color, brightness, size, solid etc. But then, barely three months of very gentle usage (one hour, 3 days a week) it stopped working. No warning, just died. When plugged in, the controller part gets very very warm so many it's an internal component, but regardless the light is no more. :-( Good price but not for just a few months of usage. Hope any future buyers have better luck.

these ring lights work great for zoom meetings - you want soft, warm light directly in front of you, but not so bright it causes glare on your skin - and this light is small, lightweight, USB, and it works nicely. i like the remote attached to the cord. it's very convenient. the settings are great, all the way from 5600k down to about 3000k. the "k" means Kelvins, the warmth or coldness of the light. the lower Kelvins (k), the more yellow the light. for meetings, i prefer about 4000k, which is called "daylight". but there's one thing you gotta do yourself, and that's diffuse the light so it isn't glaring right in your eyes. i use a white athletic sock, the kind with the gray footpad. slip it right over the light, put the gray part forward, and boom - instant soft light with almost no glare in your eyes. if you want it a little brighter, keep the white part forward. either way, the light is now softer and diffused, so it doesn't hurt your eyes even in a darkish room. you can buy a white "lamp sock" here on amazon, but they only come in white, so they don't do much for glare. you can use any old white sock, and because LEDs don't get hot, there's no risk of burning or fire. all in good a great little light that i'd buy again.

The light is great little light, however for me there is one drawback. You can't charge this light you have to have it plugged in either to your laptop or computer you can put it in a USB port and plug that into a wall outlet but the light does not turn on unless you have it powered. It would be ideal if you could charge it and use it as a mobile device, especially with your mobile phone.

When using lighting for digital media, it's important to understand what you're using it for and what is necessary. Equipment for making You Tube and Tic Toc videos is different from simple teleconferencing needs. Even for teleconferencing, is it just you or a workgroup on the screen? This 4.5" ring light is meant for single person video conferencing - Zoom, Meetings, etc. It clamps to your desktop monitor or upper edge of your laptop. [Note: the clamp is 3/4" height, so an edge is required to clamp to - edgeless screens should use a different product or mount the light elsewhere.] The power source is a USB-A connector, so make sure you have either the proper USB port or a converter. No batteries. The LED ring light is adjustable in both intensity and color temperature. Plenty of light and the ability to provide a flattering or detailed light source. Operation is intuitive. The price is right for simple augmented lighting for digital conferencing. If you have more elaborate needs, search for larger or brighter lights to illuminate large areas and that might contain the camera source in the center.

I'm very happy with the ring light I purchased. It definitely improved my appearance when making videos and being interviewed on podcasts. It does take a little time to get used to the brightness of the light.

Overall this unit is exactly what I was looking for. The clip is well made and the light is easily adjustable to any angle or direction you want and it locks into place once adjusted. The clip has nice padding that does not mark up my laptop, and the clip's grip is sturdy without "crushing" the laptop which was another concern I had but its perfect. The light itself is bright, has multiple brightness settings as well as temperature settings to really help you find the look you want in the space you're in. If I had to look for a negative, i guess the one thing is it takes up a USB port at all times, and has no ability to plug into an AC outlet... so if you have a lot of USB peripherals you may want to get a hub as this unit needs a permanent USB port as its home. I have a hub so I'm good to go. Overall this little unit does a great job for the price and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a flattering, diffused light for their online meetings and/or recordings.

Nice light for video calls

I like it, as there are three selections (daylight, cool white, or warm light) that I can choose from. I use it whenever I have a team/zoom meeting.
