Incandescent NOT LED
The description says this is a LED light bulb, it is not. This is a filament incandescent. With that said, I have tested this bulb and can confirm that it does put out both red and infrared light and perhaps better than a LED with more concentration and spectrum.

Great Start...Pleasantly Surprised
This item arrived in pristine condition in a well packaged box. I'll add that this 275 Watt bulb is noticeably brighter and heat radiates from it unlike several other 250 Watt bulbs I have used that don't get anywhere near as bright or hot. Longevity of bulb still is unknown - too soon to tell - it's had less than 10 hours of usage.

The red paint started falling off on day two
I don’t know if it’s still far infrared when the red flakes off the bulb. But it does take the chill out of the little bathroom where I have it on 24 hours a day.
