This item is sensational. Deep umami and sumptuous heat brings wonderful depth to a dish. Add it to wok and suated Eggplant is a weekly meal for our family. It goes a cery long way and become a household favouirte. Very good value, comparable to supermarkets ( that's if they have it though).

A word of caution this is very salty. I used 3 tablespoons of this paste which was called up as one of the ingredients in a chilli oil recipe. I left out the salt that was called up in same recipe so it worked out fine.

This is value for money and great taste and good quality and so versatile that I just add soy and oyster sauce with a little chilli and lime and then any stir fry is first class.

A wonderful paste consisting of fermented soybeans and salted chillies. The paste gives a great savouriness to the cooking and a distinct heat from the chillies. Have been using it for years now in different applications. Useful for not just stir frying, but also can be added to sauces as they are cooked to give it that special taste.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Scharf, aromatisch und einfach perfekt – unsere neue Küchen-Geheimwaffe! Ich habe schon viele Chili-Saucen ausprobiert, aber die Chili-Bohnen-Sauce von Lee Kum Kee ist eine absolute Klasse für sich! Was für ein Geschmackserlebnis! Das Aroma ist fantastisch: Es ist nicht einfach nur scharf, sondern wunderbar komplex. Man schmeckt die fermentierten schwarzen Bohnen, den perfekten Umami-Touch, eine leichte Süße und eine tiefgründige, gut abgerundete Schärfe. Es ist intensiv, aber nicht aggressiv. Die Anwendung ist super vielseitig: Wir verwenden sie inzwischen für fast alles. Ein Löffel davon verwandelt jedes Rührei, jeden Tofu, jedes Nudel- oder Reisgericht sofort in ein Highlight. Sie ist der absolute Game-Changer für schnelle Stir-Fry-Gerichte (wie Mapo Tofu!) und macht auch als Dip oder Marinade eine fantastische Figur. Qualität und Konsistenz, wie man es von Lee Kum Kee gewohnt ist: Top! Die Sauce ist gut gebunden, hat eine tolle Konsistenz und ist in jedem Asiamarkt und vielen Supermärkten zu finden. Fazit: Diese Sauce ist ein Muss für jeden, der gerne asiatisch kocht oder seinen Gerichten einfach mehr Tiefe und eine aromatische Schärfe verleihen möchte. Absolut empfehlenswert – 5 Sterne ohne jeden Zweifel! Ein neuer Dauerbrenner in unserem Kühlschrank.

Sehr gute Würzsauce, zum unterheben in anderen Soßen. Die angenehme Schärfe wirkt nicht aufdringlich und verleit den Gerichten einen angenehmen Geschmack.
