In happy shock. These work! Lightweight, comfortable. Three Velcro closure straps, the one on the heal allows foot to slide into sandle, no struggling with a shoe heel that makes it impossible to maneuver your foot into a shoe. Ordering a second pair, now! Problems, but of course. My ridiculously swollen left foot makes it impossible to close the two straps on top portion of sandle, the heel strap closes just fine. Easily solvable problem. I ordered a roll of two sided Velcro on Amazon to extend the straps and accommodate closure. This is a well made, sturdy solution to providing a comfortable shoe for swollen feet.

Brought these for my mother who has lower extremity lymphedema. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit her and are comfortable due to the swelling in her feet and ankles. I tried many other adjustable velcro shoes and none of them fit just right. Either they were too narrow (although they claimed to be extra wide), too tight around the top of the foot, did not have adequate toe room or the velcro was garbage. But these are perfect! They literally open all the way to the toes which are great for someone with swollen toes as well. They have velcro around the heel, so I can adjust them to fit her on days when her feet are super swollen and days when her swelling is not as bad. They are thick enough to keep her feet warm and have a hard bottom so she can wear them outside without her feet getting wet when it rains. And she said they felt good on her feet when she had her compression socks on. Will purchase another pair in a different color for her. Definitely worth every penny.

I like the ease of this shoe. Now matter how swollen my feet are the fit easily. The double velcro design is great, they have a soft feel, and lightweight. They will most likely be a indoor shoe, as they are not weather proof.

I broke my foot a few weeks ago and I’m transitioning from a walking boot to an Air Cast. I need to wear the Air Cast for at least a couple more months, but it won’t fit into any of my shoes, so I needed something to use for a temporary shoe. These work great. They adjust easily around the Air Cast, and are comfotable and warm. Just note two things about sizing: I take a women’s 7.5 shoe, so according to the size chart and my foot measurements, the 7.5 should have fit, but they were too small in the length. I ended up needing to get the size 9, which is slightly too big, but useable. I think the 8.5 would have been perfect. So be careful with sizing. Also, these are not nearly as wide in the toe area as I expected. It’s not a problem for me because I only needed the extra width in the ankle area to accomodate the Air Cast, but if you have lots of swelling around the ball of your foot, you might need to size up. Otherwise, they are just what I needed, and I love that they are a wool blend. Nice and comfy. I can use them for slippers when I don’t need the ankle brace any more.

He has recently developed edema where his feet and ankles swelled up to the size of large grapefruits! It is very painful and none of the extra wide slippers fit him. They made his feet hurt and his swelling even worse. These shoes are more than slippers they really are an indoor / outdoor shoes with non-skip soles. They OPEN FULLY with a trifold design and are very easy for anyone to put on. These shoes can truly be laid OPEN - flat. The ‘warm’ styles fabric is breathable and does not cause your feet to sweat, even during the 70-80 degree winter weather in Texas. You can wear thick socks with these shoes as they are FULLY adjustable from the back of the heal and then with the separate trifold top and front opening you can adjust to the thickness of the socks. The only complaint my Dad has given is when first putting on the shoes and starting to walk you have to pickup your feet or they will catch on a rug and stop you in your tracks. I think it is just the fibers in his rug that cause the issue as it a not skid type rug. They are great on regular carpets, slick, hard wood and / or tile floors. Best $50 gift you can give anyone with swollen feet that can not fit a standard extra-wide slipper or shoe.

The shoe quality itself is fine. I bought these for my mother. She has extreme swelling in her feet. The ability to adjust them is great. HOWEVER.... when I opened the "new" shoes, they had clearly been worn. There was noticeable scuffs on the soles and flakes of dry skin ALL over the shoes. Inside and out. It was disgusting. My mother had a doctor appointment the next day and she desperately needed a new pair of shoes that would actually fit her or she would have to go in a pair of house slippers. I had to wash the shoes and let them air dry under the ceiling fan. I'm all for reselling items that have been returned, but this was just gross.

These slipper boots were a God send for my dad when his feet would swell when his gout was flaring up and later when other health issues made his feet and ankles swell. They seemed to run to size, were very comfortable and could be adjusted according to the need AND they were reasonably priced. There was nothing not to like about them.

I love the shoes and style! It adjust to width, but not to length of shoes! Shoe sizes are not the same for USA sizes! Always too small! I wear a size 7.5 (7 1/2) USA and it was too short and toes very close to end and rub against it! Size 8 is not much larger! It's hard to buy correct size! Don't go by the shoe size chart for USA! NOT CORRECT!

I got these because of the adjustability. No matter which foot gets swollen, I can always wear these!

Fits adequate. I bought these shoes for dad (elderly). Dad at first said they fitted loose (the size i selected was the right size) but he is still wearing them so they can't be that bad.

I bought these for my dad who has diabetes and as a result has kidney failure. He also had a stroke and a heart attack last year. He’s been in the hospital for almost a year now and I bought these so he had shoes to practice walking in. He’s now able to walk quite a bit with the walker and these shoes are incredible. His feet were so swollen that no other shoes fit him. I’m buying him a second pair so he can have one indoor and one outdoor pair. He is usually size 10.5, but with the swelling slightly larger, and I got size 11 and they were a perfect fit! If you are in a similar situation to my dad, or are a daughter like me trying to find comfy shoes for your parent, these are excellent. I can’t express enough how long I tried to find shoes like these.
