I recently got into baking and didn't want to spend a ton on a starter set and this is the perfect one. It came with everything I needed for baking. I love that it came with both shapes of baskets. It is great quality, sturdy, and east to clean. It is the perfect size and I love the bread whisk it makes mixing the dough so much easier and effortless.

This starter kit came with everything I need to start on my sourdough bread making journey. This is a quality, well-made, well thought out kit. All of the utensils are well-made and sturdy. I have used each and everyone of them since I made the sourdough bread making plunge. The whisk is a must have, actually all the products are a must have and help make sourdough bread making easier. They are easy to clean, but I might suggest cleaning them before the bread dough dries on them. Flour and water once dried is much harder to wash off. Great Buy you get everything you need and it saves money from buying things separately.

Bought this to go deeper into sourdough baking madness, has been worth every penny! TLDR: don't mind the small imperfections it's a great value and I'm guessing it will last for many years. Long-winded version: The build quality is great, albeit not perfect. There are a few loose strands here and there on the woody material (not thick enough to be a splinter, and you can pluck them off or file it easily) and the stitching is not perfect on the fabrick. One of my bowls came in with a bit of a musty smell, which promptly lead me to read the maintenance instructions - where I pleasantly found out how to deal with it. The instructions could use a bit of an English polish though, I would have liked to get specifics on how to clean the fabric, not just the woody parts. I've used all the tools with great ease, none have failed yet. The most surprising was the bench scraper, in my small hands it feels way easier than an oxo brand that looks fancier. The dough mixer works great. I will add my testimony here that it is faster to work in the ingredients with it (when compared to a regular wooden spoon or spatula), however, get that thing cleaned before the dough dries or you'll have to bust out the toothpicks to clean it later. I don't have much to add about the razer tool (Lame), as I have never used another one before, I am able to score my loaves with it.

The starter is healthy and mold-free, and everything in the kit feels like good quality. The banneton basket works great — dough doesn’t stick, and it helps create a nice shape and pattern. This kit gave me the confidence to dive into sourdough.

All of this set is perfect. Easy to use, clean and store. I’ve had it probably like 2 years and it all has held up nicely.

Dieses Gärkörbchen-Set hat mich absolut überzeugt!! Der Inhalt ist extrem umfangreich. Es ist wirklich alles dabei, was man braucht – besonders um auch wunderschöne Muster auf die frischen Brote zu zaubern. In der Praxis funktioniert das Set tadellos. Es klebt und pappt absolut nichts im Gärkörbchen oder auf dem dazugehörigen Stoffbezug fest. Der Teig löst sich wunderbar und behält perfekt seine Form. Die Größe des Körbchens ist einfach perfekt dimensioniert. Das fertige Brot lässt sich danach optimal und ohne Probleme im gusseisernen Topf backen. Für mich ein absolut gelungenes Set für alle, die gerne selbst Brot backen. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
