Worked and easy install

I bought this as a replacement for a traditional can light fixture over a bath/shower during a bathroom renovation. It’s cost was very reasonable compared to any alternative. The traditional can fixture is large, bulky, and heavy. It requires a special hanger to locate it between the overhead joists and takes up lots of space. By contrast, this unit is small, lightweight, and can be installed with no support other than the drywall ceiling. The transformer doesn’t get hot, uses less electricity and after initial wiring is plug and play. The light is very bright and as an LED should last for years. It’s also suitable for a wet location. Oh, and its dimmable. I was ecstatically pleased with the product and the only remaining issue is will it last as long as advertised? We’ll see, but at this point it has to earn my highest recommendation.

The lights are great. Just note that if you are replacing an existing one, you also have to swap out the existing junction box. The manufacturer indicated that they updated the drivers so it was no longer plug and play. Simple enough to swap out, but I didn’t expect I would need to.

I ordered these because one of the lights in our closet stopped working as soon as we moved into our new construction home. I replaced them and good as new. After removing them, I looked up the brand and found their website. On the website they were a bit pricier and the shipping was as also expensive. I looked these up on Amazon and found the exact replacement and more affordable. It was so easy to replace and took less than 30 seconds to do.

While lights were easy install and gave good light, they were not the same as original lights, but the transformer was compatible original light and exchanging transformers made original lights work. Kept lights for emergency replacement.
