Avoogue Women's Long Raincoat with Hood Lightweight Waterproof Rain Jacket

I was desperate to find a stylish packable raincoat for travel. I am done searching!!! This raincoat packs easy in it's own bag. Comes out of the bag looking great. It's a nice length, as others have mentioned, with a flattering fit. The thing that I like most is the unique copper color. I used it throughout my recent trip to Ireland and never saw another coat even close to the same color. Our friends said the unique color of my coat made it easy to find me in crowds! The weather in ireland was very unpredictable. It was so easy to have this coat in my purse and put it on whenever a passing shower came through. It worked perfectly in light intermittent rain. I was caught in one heavy windy rain storm that lasted about 15 minutes and I didn't get wet underneath the coat. The hood has good coverage over my head, including my long curly hair! The coat dried quickly too. Very very satisfied with my purchase.

I love this spring/rain jacket, and I have gotten a lot of compliments on it and how pretty it is (flower print). I like that it is longer in the back and has deep pockets. I also like that the hood can be rolled up and tucked up into the collar, however, it doesn't always stay in place. Perhaps , adding a small piece of velcro would help secure it.

Bought this for my trip to Ireland. After reading all the reviews I was aware of the pros and cons to this product. Overall I would say it was a great buy and I would recommend if you are looking for a light weight rain coat for travel. The front pockets are deep and you can hold a wallet, phone, ect in them well and I like that they zip up. The inner pocket I would only use for items that are big enough to fall out of the slits, hopefully the company is able to seal the inner pockets for fixture products after all the reviews. I’ve giving this product a 4/5 because the hood falls off a lot and it’s annoying to me. I did use the strings to tighten and keep it up but it looks tacky the way you have to tie it to keep it in place. I wish it would have had a snap button or something. I have received compliments on the rain coat and it is comfortable. Not very warm if you are looking to stay warm but perfect for Ireland weather.

Just what I was looking for! I’m traveling to San Francisco in June with just a carry-on, and everyone says to pack lightweight layers. I’m also taking the ferry to Alcatraz, so I didn’t want to be cold—but I didn’t want a bulky coat or hoodie either. This jacket is super lightweight and packs into a cute little pouch that zips into the neck. It’s not scratchy, and the zipper feels smooth. I also love that it’s longer in the back, so if you sit on something wet or dusty, you stay clean and dry. I’m 5’3”, 130 lbs and got a Small. The waist hits a little high, but the elastic adjusts well. If you’re taller, it may sit more under the bust. Perfect for this type of trip!!

So cute!! This is a really darling jacket. It’s just what I had hoped. The color is true according to the photo. It rolls up nicely into the pouch. The size is great and allows for extra clothing or pull-tabs to pull in the extra fabric to make it more tailored. I haven’t actually worn it out as of yet, but so far so good.

Lightweight but poor zipper construction on pockets - they weren't properly sewn in and the raw edge of the zipper kept scraping the skin on the back of my hand when I tried to use the pockets:( Otherwise it would've been a great rain shell.

I love this rain jacket. It has a hood, the pockets hold a phone and zip up, there's a drawstring waist to adjust the fit, AND it's long enough to cover my behind.

IT IS TRUE TO SIZE AND LOOKS O.K. I AM 5'2, WEIGHT 120 LBS. AND GOT THE SMALL SIZE. I AM WONDERING WHAT BRAINLESS FOOL PUT POCKETS INSIDE THEN LEFT THE BOTTOM OPEN! WHY BOTHER, WHAT WERE THEY THINKINGIS IT FOR VENTILATION, DUH??? SIDE POCKETS ARE ROOMY AND HAVE ZIP POCKETS. I AM SURE IT WILL DO FOR LIGHT RAIN DAYS ONLY.

I bought this for a Nepal trek. Glad I tested it before my trip. In a light rain, within 15 minutes my shoulders were soaked.

This is a light jacket - no lining, so don't expect it to keep you very warm, but it fits really well. I bought it for our trip to Hawaii (of course I forgot to bring it on our drive to the volcano where it was drizzling rain and had to buy a poncho...). The jacket packs up fairly small but still has some prime real estate in your carry-on or personal item. You could probably squish it down - it does wrinkle fairly easily and might take a while for the wrinkles to settle out. I unpacked mine to look at for this review and will have to see how long it will stay wrinkled for. I will use it for spring walks and to have as a back up against unexpected weather. The colour is very pretty and flattering. You can cinch up the waste with a drawstring, the hood also has a drawstring. I bought the XXL (220lbs, 5'6", D cup) and can wear another light zip up under it for cooler weather, if needed. The draw strings help to make it more fitted for an hourglass shape, but it would also work for an apple or pear. As I noted, it is a very light jacket - the material is similar to a tent or other plasticy feel. Time will tell if it is durable, but it will work for the occasional use I expect it to get. I recommend this jacket if you need something light to keep on hand, even in your vehicle.
