Best backpack I've owned yet for daily use
This bag appears very well made, and it's BIG. The strap is wide and very well padded, and is very comfortable, with dual quick disconnects on it to make it left or right handed with ease, and both straps can be connected to hold the bag in place for riding/running. There's also a D-ring at the top of the should strap to clip stuff to. There is a compression strap on each side, and a 3rd compression strap across the top as well. One of the quick disconnect buckles on the strap can be moved anywhere along the molle grid on the shoulder strap. The tails of the quick disconnects for the shoulder strap have velcro on them to keep them from hanging down and getting caught. The bag is about 6" deep in the main pocket, with an interior pocket for a water bladder that is covered in Molle grid for attaching pouches to on the inside. There are 2 velcro loops for fastening to the water bladder to keep it suspended, rather than falling to the bottom of the pocket. The hole in the top of the bag that is for the drinking hose is covered over with a flap of velcro that seals well. The front of the pocket has an additional mesh pocket with dual zippers , with the mesh pocket in the main pouch unzipping completely to the bottom of the bag. The middle pocket has 3 primary mesh pockets, the top is split in the middle by the zipper, while the other two sit side by side below it, and are quite large, in addition to the mesh pocket on the front as well. The smallest pocket has the organizer stuff with a keyring clip, small zipper pocket, pen slots, etc; and another mesh pocket on the front again. The carrying handle on the bag has a completely removable padding that is velcro'd on. Last but not least, there's a HUGE rectangle of hook/loop fastener on the outside for putting on morale patches and stuff.

Great bag!
This is exactly the bag I’ve been searching for. It holds all my yoga and exercise gear (okay, everything except the mat) including footwear. It has lots of pockets, is sturdy and well made.

Perfect Sling Pack
Finally, They've made the perfect Sling back-pack. Double sling-packs never really worked for me. They're ideal for carrying a load, but not as ideal if you need to access your equipment in a hurry. Enter the Sling-pack: I have put this Condor through its paces time and time again. Its small enough so you don't look like a "hunch-back" and expands big enough to fit a few days worth of close, food and whatever. This sling is ideal because you can wear in on your back and at a moments notice rotate it forward to access any of the pockets. Which is what makes this Sling ideal. You can rotate it to either side (right or left handed) and the pockets are accessible no matter which way you rotate it. The outer straps are ideal for mounting a flashlights, an external H2O bottle, keys, and/or a knife. Initially unbeknownst to me it had/has an internal pocket made for bladder with a velcrow'd hole at the top for the water tube - Ergo there's no need to tack on a water bottle to the outside. The material is made of industrial level nylon similar to that Maxpedition uses - if your familiar with that product. The zippers and inner pockets are also made of industrial level materiel. It has padded back so your back doesn't get rubbed raw or bruised. Ive thrown this sling on the ground, gotten it dirty, gotten it wet, and the contents have never been effected. I took it camping and the other tents and other packs got infested with spiders and such, and my sling was air tight. All it takes is a few blast of air from an air compressor and it looks new again. Enjoy.

Decent overall EDC bag
I am always looking for a better everyday carry bag so I tend to go through some bags. I wasn't too confident about this bag when placing the order mostly due to the price being substantially lower then most quality EDC bags that I have purchased in the past. I have been looking for a bag that meet a few personal requirements. I have typically been a maxpedition fan, even trying most of their gearslinger bags and they're just too small usually or missing features I want. Those requirements being: 1. decent size front area hook and loop velcro area for morale patches 2. some kind of padded compartment for my ultrabook and/or tablet 3. molle webbing system on front and sides 4. have 1600+ cubic inches of space 5. a ccw pocket is preferred although not mandatory The bag meets all of these requirements more or less. The "padded" area could have been better but it's not bad, just dont go throwing around your bag. The velcro area up front is pretty large considering most bags don't have one or have a much smaller area. The 2 ccw pockets, one on each side make a nice addition to the bag. The bag also ambidextrous which is really nice. I have a maxpedition monsoon gearslinger and always wished it was ambidextrous. Yes, I know Maxpedition sells 2 versions of the monsoon now. The straps also are quite long so they can be expanded or shortened to allow you to wear it comfortably regardless of body size (skinny/fat) or wearing additional gear underneath such as a chest rig. You really don't feel the weight of the bag when wearing it. The only real downside to the bag in my opinion would be the zippers and why I rated a 4 instead of a 5. They are definitely not YKK zippers and at first use, just not smooth to open/close with getting stuck. I would definitely pay a bit more to have YKK zippers.

Great bargain for a practical, useful item
Since I usually carry my backpacks slung over one shoulder I thought I would like to try one built around that carrying option. The other bags with similar items either were too expensive or with too small of a carrying capability. Not only is the bag and strap very good, it was the little touches that impressed me. Items can be segregated and isolated very easily with all of the built in mesh compartments and three main storage areas. Of course, the molle attachment options increased the storage capability and the variety of storage options. One nice small touch is the velcro retainer on the strap that attaches the padded carry strap to the bag - once it is adjusted to size it is easy to neatly store the unused portion of strap out of the way but ready for use if needed. If you do not need the waist belt it also stores neatly and conveniently away. The pack itself, and all straps, seem securely sewn on and I would not expect any to loosen up or fail. I have not tried loading the pack and carrying for an extended period of time yet, and I do expect it not to be as comfortable as a two strap backpack, but since this one is so easy to take off and put back on, or move to various spots on your body, I expect it to work out just fine.

I Wanted To and Tried to Like This But I Don't and Should Have Returned It
I really, really tried my best to like this Sling Bag. I was tired of the shoulder aches that a standard EDC backpack caused. In additional to everything else I also needed this to carry a large laptop. The reviews said it would and it does (barely) fit in the largest pocket on the sling bag. Unfortunately, the reviews also overwhelmingly suggested it had "lots of pockets for storage." There are 3 zipper pockets and a mesh pocket tucked in the main pocket, but they are so small they are not useful nor practical. In order to carry my EDC items I had to separately purchase 4 different Molle pouches to attach to this sling bag. One or two would probably be fine but four is cumbersome. In reality I should have returned it when I had the chance. However, it was a "sling bag" and it fit the laptop that I carry for work. Pros: Sling pack that can fit a 15-16" laptop. Cons: Most of the pockets are too small to hold much of anything.

Great bag for a month in Europe!
Travelling for a month in southern Spain and Paris, this backpack performed admirably. I purchased 4 bags to test and eliminated them one by one. This was the survivor. By design, this holds more “regular” shaped objects than most irregular shaped packs (IE teardrop packs.) The narrow end of teardrop packs obviously attenuate usefulness unless transporting tennis rackets or a leg of lamb. This pack is built very ruggedly of heavy weight materials. It is not trying for the ultimate light weight; on my scale it weighs in at 3lb 4oz. It probably wouldn't tear or rip if you put that leg of lamb in it and tossed it into a lion's den. Very good stitching throughout. The strap is wide and comfortable and padded enough to remain comfortable all day… if you're not trying to see how much weight it can possibly hold. It could easily hold and carry 100 or more pounds if you were transporting, say, sand bags, bricks or barbell plates. The strap never felt like it impinged on my neck and that could be due to its slightly “hour glass” shape. At its narrowest point it’s 2 and 5/8 inches. It rode well on my back, front or on my side tucked under my arm. (I avoided keeping it on my back in crowded places like subway trains and platforms or queue lines where it would be ever so easy for someone to fish around in it.) The back is well padded so even if you carry very irregular shaped objects it should remain quite comfortable. The external zippers are quite heavy and substantial except for the ones on the back for the secret pockets which are lighter duty so as to remain more inconspicuous. There are three main storage areas. The first two are flat with very little depth so I used those mostly for documents or metro maps etc. Even the smallest section can hold full 8.5x11 docs. The first two sections have several small zippered compartments that worked pretty well for small non-bulky items like chapstick, USB cables, low profile chargers, pens, small penlight, energy bars…that kind of stuff. You could also fit any size tablet but you might want a cover for it to protect it from internal zippers. I found these first two sections to be too flat even for my sunglasses case to fit comfortably. The main compartment is quite roomy. I was carrying a nice SLR camera in a slightly bulky case, an umbrella, sunglasses (totally not needed in Paris in March) and often a “puffy” down coat…men’s XL. And there was still enough room for a couple bottles of wine. I could easily have included a large tablet or notebook computer in the padded section in the back of the main compartment too. A nice feature is that the strap can be connected to either side of the bottom of the bag to make it work properly and comfortably on either shoulder whether worn on back or front. And taking this into consideration, another well planned feature is a secret security pocket on BOTH sides of the rear of the bag. This means that regardless of which side you wear it on, there is always one of the pockets on top if you slide the bag around from back to front to retrieve your wallet or passport. I kept one of those boarding pass wallets with passport and ID back there and it was incredibly easy to extract without removing the bag when called for. So this was far more convenient than traditional two-strap backpacks that need to be removed to retrieve things. This bag also has compression straps on both sides to snug up your load. I also noted that this bag rode well when just draped over one shoulder (not put over the head.) But be advised, I don’t have sloping shoulders, This bag is big enough to look normal on big people. I’m 6’ 3”and 212 lbs and I liked the fit. I had no problems with zippers or straps and the padded back panel was always comfortable. I’m not a fan of how many molle loops there are all over this unit, but at least you have the potential to add extra pouches just about anywhere. It would have been easy to add a cellphone pouch at chest level on the strap…but I decided I was content to keep the phone in my pocket. If I were to redesign this bag, about all I’d do differently is to add an external sleeve or side pouch for a water bottle (or umbrella) and maybe a built-in pouch on the strap, over the chest, for a cell phone. On the front of the outermost section I’d have liked a zippered pouch with enough depth for my sunglasses case (or small camera) so as not to have to dig amongst the items at the bottom of the main compartment. Or, instead of an external pouch, maybe a little more depth to one of the first two sections (as in, not so flat). All in all, this bag performed well and I had no problems with it in my month of travels in Europe. But if Rick Steves designed it there would be some refinements.

Amazing bag!
Amazing bag!! Love the way it is ladies out on the inside. The top zippers section is huge but will can be tightened down when not full, has Molle Webb intergrated into the back if you want you add your own configuration of pockets as well. Along with a pouch to store a hydro bladder or laptop. The front insides has mesh zipper compartment as well that fit headphone or ear protectors. The second compartment is my favorite!! It's is 3 different complement of mesh Along the back. One along the top that is like a half moon is great and the two on the bottom fit my glass case perfect, I use the other side to hold my JBL flip 2 speaker, also a perfect fit. Also the front inside is another mess compartment that goes from the top to the pot Top of the bag. The third compartment is a standard school bag type flap. Pen holder pad holder etc. there is two side pockets hiddden in between the bag padding and Inside of the back of the bag. Fits my iPad perfect. The construction is durable as you can get.. I use it every day and am still breaking it in a few months later.. it's a stiff bag at first, but that's good! All in all in my opinion the perfect bag! I have tons and ton of backpacks and day packs and this is hands down the best i ever had
