Pop up outlet box is hidden in your countertop or floor when closed, all you see is a stylish silver top. When you push the button the top tilts open revealing the outlets. It can be installed in floor, countertop, deck, table, desk tops in itchen, living room, office, public area, etc. Waterproof gasket features IP44 water rating. The product features two 5V DC USB charging ports and one 13A power receptacle. The cover is made of solid alloy, and the box made of stainless steel. Prior to installation, a professional cutter should cut a square hole in the desired location of the receptacle. Junction Box Dimensions: 4.0*4.0*2.2 inches Receptacle and Cover Dimensions: 4.8*4.8*3.0 inches (when closed) Any excess wires should be pulled out of the box or made flat on the bottom of the box, to avoid interfering with the opening mechanism. An additional plastic plate is provided to prevent the entry of dirt when installing the junction box. It can be removed when installing the outlet.

Super slick, sexy socket but be warned!
OK straight to it, quality, build, sturdy and design can not be faulted, this is absolutely 100% high end and amazing BUT to install its a bit of a challenge. If you install into a small space make sure you have full clearance behind before you buy. The mechanism needs space to swing and clear and running cables. I installed into a wooden panel and also needed the rear cradle to pull everything in and make it open freely as I spent about an hour trying to get it to open fully without snagging (I'm not an incompetent DIY er either) can't fault the quality and product just can be tricky to get working.

Great in floor socket solution.
These are great quality with a sleep slow pop up design the lock in to space. Made with a high grade metal the look stylish when closed in the floor and sleek enough for the vac to glide over no issue. Very easy to install and although a tad expensive once they are in they are well worth the money. I got two and im very happy with them.

Good solid product, take care installing
I had an electrician install this and unfortunately he used the side entrance hole when I think it has to be connected from beneath. After a few months of use the wire was obviously catching on the sharp metal of the mechanism that goes in and out. The result was that it wore through the wiring and we had a short, luckily the RCB cut in before the casing could become live. You want the wiring to be from underneath and no slack left within the box to possibly catch on anything. Otherwise it seems a good solid design.
