Quality is everything.
Painting a great picture only takes a tiny amount of paint. There is NO reason for using anything but the best. As a patented paint inventor and keynote speaker at an international paint symposium, I feel qualified to say that you should use only the best.

D.Smith sap green is great out of the tube or blended
This review is specific to the Daniel Smith Sap Green tube watercolor. Daniel Smith's sap green is different than other manufacturers, rated more permanent, with phthalo blue and quin. gold blend. It is a beautifully natural grayed yellow-green grassy color, and staining, so in blends with burnt sienna, for a more earthy/mossy green, you can lift for texture, leaving the grassy stain .Besides the burnt sienna blend it also makes great shadowy piney greens with something like ultramarine. I don't usually use tube blends, preferring primaries like most people and mixing my own, but this is an exceptionally useful tube green.

As good as you’ve heard
Worth the splurge! DS paints are fabulous and this green was perfect.

Can't get the right amount
I like the color however I am having issues with comparison to Artisticisle hand made watercolor paint. I have to use a lot more of Daniel Smith, Windsor cottman and woodlands prima colors set. Reasons why, I think the tube is old? Not sure if that makes it hard to reanimate the paint.
