The new model has an improved appearance compared to its predecessor. However, its heat retention capabilities are not as effective, resulting in drinks cooling down more quickly. On the positive side, the quick seal feature is highly convenient and the product is easy to clean.

This travel mug is fantastic for its designed purpose: transporting coffee to and from work in your bag without any leaks, whilst keeping it warm for a number of hours. I haven't timed it, but I can still drink the coffee into the early afternoon. It's easy to keep clean. When I get home, I pour away any coffee, open up the lid and put both the lid and the body in the top rack of the dishwasher. If you prefer a coloured body, please know that those aren't dishwasher safe, despite sometimes being advertised as such! Contigo's products only major flaw in my eyes is that the paint tends to chip or peel away. I like the look of the black one but went with the plain stainless steel because of the convenience of the dishwasher. When it comes to hand washing, get a good bottle brush and you should be grand. I don't necessarily think this would be suitable for using different types of drink, though. Coffee oils are absorbed into the plastic lid, which means no matter how often and well you clean it, some of that lingering coffee smell remains in the lid. I've not tried it with tea or another type of hot drink, but have a feeling it may leave a faint coffee taste.

I like the lock function. Guarantied no spillage at all. Easy to drink. Easy to clean. Good purchase.

Perfect design it’s exactly what I want. Easy to open n close, lock n unlock. It got the perfect grip and a comfortable zip on top of the lid. No spill functionality wise it’s exactly what I’m looking for. It’s light n easy on the go. I love its stainless steel outside and inside it’s easy to clean n safe to drink with, with a contemporary look without being too colourful. I wish I bought it earlier. Will test a little longer… will buy again as birthday present if it continues to work properly Can hold only a regular cup size of coffee may consider upsizing a little without making too big a cup to hold.

We have had Avex contigo thermos cups for over 8 years, our original ones are looking so scruffy as we bought a set of 2 one was coloured and one was plain stainless steel, over the years the coloured one soon began to get chipped paint and it is then impossible to not pick it 😬 so I decided to buy my husband a new one for Christmas and made sure that this time I purchased one that wasn’t coloured on the outside, this will stay looking new for many years, these are so good as you really can rely on them to not leak in your hand bag, just ensure the lock switch is down when in you handbag and you will arrive at work with no spills, these have never let us down and so easy to drink from, as you too it up you just push the trigger on the side of the lid and it opens the hole. Keeps the drink hot very well and very easy to keep clean

This is both the prettiest and most useless contigo flask I've ever had - and I've had a lot of them. It is extremely pretty but: 1) it doesn't keep things that hot 2) when you sip a little pool of coffee remains so as to make it a hazard in your bag 3) When you sip a bit of coffee dribbles down the side of the flask. I kept it as it still looked nice on my desk but I pour it into a tin mug for the actual drinking. If I drink from th flask itself I need to keep a rag nearby. Absolutely dreadful functionality! How did it go so wrong! I've gifted and bought so many of these mugs. Kate

Being quite an avid coffee drinker, I am always looking out for a cup/ drinking vessel to try out. I have bought several over the years, but they all have their drawbacks in either being easy to knock over or the taste is tainted in some way. The Contigo drinking flask is the first drinking vessel, I have used which is spill proof, keeps your coffee hot for a long time, and doesn't taint the flavour of the coffee/or tea. I have used it for a couple of weeks now and tend to use it nearly all the time instead of a cup or beaker. It is stainless steel and very robust. It has a lock on the lid to prevent any accidents. I can't find any faults with it. Well done Contigo.

This thermos was a repeat purchase , but strangely this one was easily stained and required bleach to remove limescale on a weekly basis. All other features were acceptable.

Muy buen producto. Mantiene mi bebida fría y los cubitos de hielo durante toda mi jornada laboral (de 7h a 16h). Cierre de seguridad que impide pérdidas. Muy recomendable. Es el segundo que me compro.

Ich habe schon einige Thermobecher ausprobiert, aber der Contigo Edelstahlbecher spielt in einer eigenen Liga. Hier meine wichtigsten Punkte: • Absolut auslaufsicher: Das ist für mich das wichtigste Feature. Er ist wirklich super dicht – ich kann ihn bedenkenlos in den Rucksack werfen, ohne dass auch nur ein Tropfen daneben geht. • Hält top warm: Der Kaffee bleibt locker 3 Stunden lang heiß, was für meinen Arbeitsweg und den Vormittag perfekt ist. • Hochwertige Verarbeitung: Man merkt sofort, dass es kein billiges Plastikteil ist. Der Becher ist top verarbeitet, fühlt sich robust an und sieht zudem noch schick aus. Fazit: Wer keine Lust mehr auf klebrige Taschen und kalten Kaffee hat, sollte hier zugreifen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
