How high is the cup without the lid? I want one to fit under our coffee machine.

I use it with my Tassimo with the drip tray out. With the lid off it stands 14.5cm. Hope this helps.

Is it safe to put it in the bag when full or it's gonna leak?

Dear Sale, this is Leszek from Contigo Consumer Care. Thank you for contacting us regarding our Luxe 12oz as regards carrying the model in a bag and possible leakage in it. In response, I would like to inform you that we do not advise carrying our products in bags, which may result in uncontrollable opening and spillage, especially when a unit is full, or the level of liquid even exceeds the prescribed limit below the threading. I hope that this information suffices. Regards, Leszek Contigo Consumer Service

What is the base diameter?

Approx. 74mm with the very bottom of the base being smaller at 65mm. The size drop is sudden so overall it would be around 74mm to fit any cup holder.

I have a Contigo autoseal and my tea tastes very metallic from it. Is that the same with this version?

I've noticed no residual taste with the stainless steel version when drinking coffee or red Bush tea.
