How do these work on ice?

I loved these boots and wore them all winter in Upstate NY. after moving from Pasadena, CA. I did a lot of research before I made the investment in these boots. But my feet never got cold, once, and the look of the heavy-duty boot managed to keep a rather "chic" look like riding boots. When it comes to ice I don't think any boot you buy will keep you "superhuman." Unless they have spikes embedded in the soles. I think they did much better than any other boot I could have worn, but ice is ice. Especially when it's hidden by a layer of snow. My family gave me a set of "trackers?" They attach with a cord aroung the ankle of the boot and do have spikes that are really the only thing that will work on the real deal - ice. I think without spikes, this is the best boot.

Why is this order taking so long?

Hi. I don't know why it takes so long for the supplier to get the boots to the customer. It took my boots to get to me 2 weeks after the promised delivery date.
