The cable works for both my Samsung Epic 4G and HTC EVO 4G. However, it takes what seems to be excessive force to snap the plug into the phone and then to unplug it. But it hasn't damaged the phones or anything like that, the plug just seems too tight. Also it IS NOT quite 6 feet as described. It measures 5 feet 9 inches. While this is not a big deal, I want those extra 3 inches I paid for! Anyway, it's not a big deal but I hate when corners are cut and they misrepresent the item. I could send it back for a refund, but it works ok and I'm not going to bother.

Dont waste your money on this cable.What a piece of crap this is, about a week ago this cord went bad. I plugged my phone in to it and it was acting like i had drivers missing and everything else it took me a few days to figure out that it was this piece of crap cable that went to H___ well you know what i mean.So now that it is beyond the time frame i cant return it so i am just out the money and time it wasted for me trying to figure out what was going on with my phone not syncing with my computer anymore.Dont waste your money on the cheap piece of trash as i did. I hope i save at-least 1 person from making the same mistake as i did.

It took about three weeks of use before the micro end wore out. One morning I woke up and my phone was down to 10% juice, even though it had been plugged in all night. I tinkered with the cord and the phone started to charge again. But, over the next few days it became more and more difficult to get the micro plug in position to charge the phone. Finally, the only way it would charge my phone was to constantly hold it tightly in place, so I gave up and threw it out.To be fair, this isn't the only micro USB cord I've had fail far too quickly, but this one was definitely the quickest. Aside from the cord that came with my phone, the only one that's lasted any decent amount of time was from K-Mart. Other people must have come to the same conclusion, because they're now constantly out of stock.Maybe I'll go buy a dozen micro USB cords from the dollar store. Even if each one only lasts a week, they'd still be a much better deal than this XTG cord.

Well, the length, of course, is great to have. So many times I've gotten aggravated at the 3 ft you usually get! I purchased 3 of these. One for my daughter, one for my husband, one for myself. My daughter was enjoying hers the day we got them. I tried mine that night, and it wouldn't charge my phone. I wiggled it, checked both ends to make sure they were in completely, I could find nothing wrong, but it just wouldn't work. As it turns out, my husband didn't want one, and I tried his. It works! So I guess 2 outta 3 ain't bad... ;-) Now I'm enjoying having some extra maneuvering room too!

Was looking for something longer so I could keep phone at my desk, rather than on other side of the room. That was it's only pro.A bit over a month after purchase, the connector would not sit still in port, thus not charge. It worked propping it against something. Whatever, I could deal.Now, nearly 2 months after purchase this will not connect or charge. AT ALL. Nothing more than piss-poor constructed junk.DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM. WASTE OF MONEY. GO ELSEWHERE.I might as well had just gone on eBay and thrown my money at a scammer, it would have been no different.

As with many others, the cable stoped working after a couple weeks. The micro-usb end of the cable is barely encased in plastic so that the conductive end readily works loose. This allows it to separate internally from whatever connections complete the circuit. We all like to pay as little as possible, but this cable is no deal.This was our second cable, having thought we mistreated the first but the verdict is the same. Look elsewhere.

Obviously I miswrote this review. This cord works very well, I use it when I want to talk on my phone while still charging it. Most of the shorter ones will not work for that, but this one does. I have purchased several for myself, and some for my granddaughter too. It was exactly as described, came packaged well, and was delivered promptly.

Like others have pointed out already - this is not a quality cable. Mine does still work after ~2-3 months of using it nightly, I need to have my Droid sitting on the edge of my dresser, so the the weight of the cord pulls the connector downward, so it makes contact, and charges my phone. Other cables continue to work great with the phone.Probably not the best use of your money - spend a little more for something with better quality!
