Little Antarctica Beluga Whale Non-Slip Bathtub Mat Natural Rubber No PVC/BPA Non-Toxin Heavy Duty

We purchased this bathmat about a year and a half ago. We've been happy with the appearance and comfort, but I find the suction a little over the top. I should have known by the pictures, but there are lots of little suction cups, which is great because the mat doesn't slip, but several months ago I noticed the paint on our bathtub peeling. Just about every suction cup has lifted the paint off the tub and several cups peeled the paint right off. The tub was in a great shape when we first moved here, but who knows how well the tub was refinished, so it could be the tub at fault... but just wanted to make note of this. I know I wasn't thinking about the possibility of ruining the finish of the tub when we purchased this mat. Now I'm not sure if I should continue to use the mat to cover up all the chipped paint spots or throw it away so the tub doesn't get worse. Refinishing the tub isn't cheap.

The bath mat is of great quality material. It is heavy with no odor to it, which I appreciate since my son will be on it. With a few attempts of different amounts of water and steps, I have not been able to get the bath mat to stick to the tub. It is heavy so it pretty much stays in place but the front of it rolls which intrigues littles to play with it. The suction cups on the bottom are quite small which maybe the reason for the lack of suction. If the mat had good suction this would for sure be a 5 star as it is all natural too. It fits majority of our normal sized bath tub. About 10 inches on the two ends are exposed.

I really wanted to love this mat, but it started growing mold after only a few weeks, although I hang it to dry after every use, and only my baby is using it. The suction cups are pretty strong, but that's also the problem, as the material itself isn't. Pulling it out from the tub results in losing one suction cup after the other. I cleaned it with mild detergent every other week, and still after a little more than a year it definitely needs to be replaced, and I don't buy the same one again, so no I can't recommend the mat.

100% real rubber. We wanted something toxin free for my 1.5 year old so she won't slip in the bath. Have had no problems with mold. We hang it to dry in the bathroom after every bath. Its a slightly grayish white but otherwise looks just like the picture. Has a pretty noticeable rubber smell over the first few weeks but we either got used to it or it faded. Its a good size for our old tub and would look great in just about any bathroom.

Exactly what I needed for my son now that he's too big for his baby tub... it has texture, but not so much that it's uncomfortable for him to sit on. Our tub is slightly textured, but I haven't had any problems with the mat not sticking - it's got a good weight to it, so maybe that helps.

My son was slipping all over our bath tub until we bought this. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little bit longer so it covered more space in the tub. We actually have a pretty small bath tub so I would not recommend this for someone that has a long or very deep tub. Overall we are happy with the purchase though.

Great size. Mine didn't stick to the tub but that was because I ordered it not realizing the tub already has some sort of texture on the bottom. Our baby girl keeps slipping all over the place so I just ordered a mat (based off reviews) without even checking to see if the tub already had anti-slip features (since she was sliding all over the place I assumed it didn't). If our tub was smooth this would have been a great product.

I bought this for my 7 month old. He doesn't sit up in the bath yet but he's way too wild for those little seats. So I thought I would buy this and it would be soft enough. I cleaned it and aired it out and have had no issues with it. I still put a few towels under my sons head to elevate it a little bit, but this is a perfect bath mat for this time period and also as he gets older. It's soft and not so brightly colored and ugly. Also, love that it's natural rubber :)
