Love this alarm so much. I bought a cheaper generic one on Amazon that looked similar—total waste. Stopped working after 2 months. You can tell this one is well made. The weighted based makes it so sturdy. The materials feel solid, not flimsy. The single sheet of clear plastic on the front is so aesthetically pleasing. The way the alarm on-off switch functions is so satisfying. Get this clock.

I got two and I really love the white one. It’s so elegant and the nightlight is so subtle. However, the nightlight doesn’t really work on the black one, because it shines from behind the clock face, which means there’s no luminance because the black clock face virtually blocks all light. I thought they would have done something smart like etching on the digits to let light through, but I was overthink it and Braun didn’t do that.

The clock looks nice and has three features: time, alarm, back light. Although, not rocket science, it's not completely intuitive to set the alarm. You have to first have the alarm button off, and then set the alarm. Also, this part is hard to explain in words, but you have to be careful about moving the alarm hand or you'll hit resistance when alarm hand hour matches the time hour. I gave this clock to my 11 year old daughter and the alarm broke after two weeks of use. aesthetics: 4 or 5 / 5 simple features: 5 / 5 ease of use: 1 / 5 robustness: 1/ 5

Was looking for a good bedside clock, easy to read, dependable. The BC22 shows up in a lot of blogs and reviews and now I know why. It's elegant, silent, and just gets the job done. I don't use it for my alarm, but I like having it close by. The backlight is way better than a little LED light in the corner. NOTE: Complaints about battery life are probably legit, but that is caused by using the "continuous backlight" where the backlight stays on whenever it is dark (there is a light sensor). But that is optional. I don't use that. I just hit the top button and the face lights up for about 5 seconds.

Just right for the nightstand. Small, not gadget crazy. Small but very visable. No digital stuff. Takes batterys. You have to get those yourself. The backlight is nice. It is subtle and wont light up the room.

Love the design and look of the clock. The back light really only works well in very dark conditions but I don't really have a need for it so I don't use it. Clock is truly silent compared to similar clocks of this design.

I've had this clock for almost a year. I liked the design/look and wanted an alarm clock that was not digital, but I wouldn't buy this one again for these reasons: (1) The numbers cannot be read in the dark even with the backlight on (too dim). (2) The hour and minute hands are very close in length, so at a glance it's hard to tell which is which. (3) The black alarm hand is difficult to see on the black background. (4) The green luminescent spots at the tips of all three hands are tiny, and with hands so close in length, it is nearly impossible to determine the time in the dark.

Der Wecker ist einfach perfekt! Für mich hat er genau die richtige Größe für den Nachtisch. Der Weckton ist anfangs nicht zu laut, das ist super wenn der Partner noch weiter schlafen möchte. Wichtig ist, dass man die Griffe auf der Rückseite zum einstellen für die Uhrzeit und die Weckzeit nur in die angegebene Richtung dreht, weil sonst lauf Beschreibung was kaputt gehen kann. Ansonsten ist die Bedienung aber so einfach und Intuitiv dass man die Beschreibung nicht braucht.

It's a nice looking classical alarmclock, but it is difficult to read the numbers in dark since they are white on grey. This was quite important for me since it was a gift to my 7 year old son.

I bought several Alarm clocks in the past but this Braun clock is the best alarm clock I've bought ever. There is a backlight which is very subtle which i keep it on for full night which is not at all distracting even the alarm is not very annoyingly loud. Price is high but worth it.
