As a guy who's always had a very hard time finding lasting, durable socks in my daily life, I was pretty shocked by how well Wigwam's At Work socks have stood up. I usually go through most normal brand all-cotton socks anywhere from a couple weeks to a month. The story there is pretty obvious - the toes break open, the heels wear out too fast, or they thin out on the bottom and holes develop under the pads of your feet. Sucks... but not with Wigwam. These socks have been hardcore from day one, and a month later they still feel almost brand new.The closest I can describe the fit and feel is much like a dress sock. They're thicker than a dress-sock but thinner than normal all-cottons. So for those looking for a looser-fitting fluffy sock - these are not for you. However, for you who don't need the princess-soft feel of most modern all-cotton daily socks (or who are comfortable with the snug fit of dress socks), you'll be amazed with these. It isn't a problem for me, but if you have very sensitive skin on your feet or legs, you might find these to feel a tiny bit scratchy when you put them on, but they hardly ever move once they're on. I don't notice it when I put them on.Aside from the fit and feel, the other attribute worth sharing is how much they breathe. The moment I put on these sturdy foot-covers I was shocked just how light and airy they felt. While that's true, they still offer at least 70% of the warmth inherent to softer, all-cotton socks. That's a huge plus for me since my feet tend to get quite cold at night.I've never had any regular problem with foot-odor, so unfortunately I can't speak for the antimicrobial treatment or odor-guard.If there's any downside to mention, it's only that they're not a lot of fun to turn right-side out when taking out of the dryer (they're a bit scratchy on the arms). I guess my arms are more sensitive to it than my feet and legs. Even so, I've found after several washings that I'd rather deal with the scratchiness on my arms in order to have awesome socks that last longer than a week.As a comparison note: I purchased these along with the Carhartt (Work Wear Cushioned) socks - and I have to say between the two I loathed the Carhartt brand. They were way too tight, too cottony, and didn't breathe much at all.It's unlikely I'll buy any other sock at this point. The durability, breathing and lightness is just perfect for me.

These socks are great. Thick, tough and comfortable these socks are ideal especially in the black color. I actually wear these both with heavy boots and dress shoes since they are black and look nice in that way. Although the bottoms are a dark gray you can't see it when you actually wear a boot/shoe with it. Everyone knows that thin socks become useless in about a year so these socks are ideal for people who are sick of wasting money on crappy socks that wear out. The thickness not only keeps your feet warm in the winter but it protects the sock from damage and allows it to have a much higher durability. Stop wasting your money on thin socks and get at least 4 packs of these today! You won't regret it, I promise. One thing I have noticed though, it can create a lot of toe jam and fibers left behind on your feet although this usually only occurs if your feet get really sweaty in hot weather.

I've used these work crew socks for over a year now as work socks and they have held up extremely well. I've used quite a few different types of socks over the years at work. I work in an office most days, but occasionally have to go to a plant or other environment where I will wear boots instead of oxford type shoes. These socks hold up very well in both environments.They have a versatile styling that means they don't look out of place as either boot socks or business casual socks if you pair them with "nicer" dress shoes and khakis. As someone who does have to switch to boots on occasion, I appreciate not having to switch socks as well. I wouldn't pair these with a three piece suit, but they'll work fine if your office is business casual and you wear polo shirts and khakis to work.I've ran these through many wash cycles and dryer cycles and have yet to have any issues with holes in them, pilling, or stretching. I do quite a lot of walking at work and these socks stay pulled up on your calves quite well. Other socks that I've used will fall towards my ankles and I'll have to pull them up every 15 minutes. These socks hold the line well and stay where you put them.The only minor issue that I've had with them is that on occasion, you'll have some string that will come loose at the top stitching, although this hasn't happened to all of the socks and not often enough that I would knock a star off.I bought three sets of three and if these actually decide to wear out on me, I'll likely buy them again.Highly recommended, I wasn't disappointed at all.

I purchased a pack of the black socks a few weeks ago and so far I love them. I wear a size 12 and the large size socks fit perfectly. They are actually longer than the image suggests, maybe up to my mid calf...maybe that's what the picture shows and I just can't tell because angles and depth perception.I love that the front stitch doesn't poke into my toes, and they do make my leather shoes a little bit more comfortable with the thicker soles. These feel solid, and I expect them to last for a long time.One sock in each pair comes with the white logo on the bottom of the foot, but after several washes this is deteriorating, which I think is great. I prefer my clothes and peripherals to have as little branding as possible.One thing that is not going away, however, is the massive shedding the inside of the sole. Every time I take these socks off, there is black lint all over my feet that I have to wipe off. It has been at least 4 or 5 washes and it is showing no sign of stopping. I hope they cut that out pretty soon!EDIT: Well, 2017 now and these guys are still shedding. I don't really notice it anymore until I step in the shower.

As a bigger guy he has a hard time finding comfortable socks that fit him well and he was extremely happy with these.

Comfy look like good quality but time will tell. Used them for a week in steel toed boots so far I like them
