How long does it last through the day?

Once it works, the effects should last the rest of the day...UNLESS you eat something that will give you a reaction. This doesn't work like a Proton Pump inhibitor (Nexium, Prilosec et al)-- nor does this product cause the damage the PPIs do!! This helps put out the 'fire'...You might need 1 to 3 little tablets...

Does this product contain aluminum?

No, there isn't any aluminum in the ingredients list. The only other "metal" is magnesium stearate.
