Exactly what I was looking for
WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR: hook-style ear buds with good sound quality, a charging case, decent battery life at a reasonable price.WHY I CHOSE THESE: I already own the original Backbeat Fit and they have survived through hell and back over the years and hoped the new style would be just as good despite some of the reviews. Considering the MSRP if these were not refurbished, I figured they had to be better than the others that I was looking at.INITIAL IMPRESSION: Everything seems high quality. Nice case with a place to keep the charging cable. Earbuds are a good weight which gives the impression of quality while still being light enough to server their purpose.SOUNDS QUALITY: This is probably the case with most earbuds, but I wouldn't suggest listening with just 1 ear... It just sounds too bass-y and hard to hear. Adding the second earbud is a totally different story! Very nice, full range with perhaps a bit too much BASS to sound natural, but that can be adjusted in the app. Setting the app to "bright" and adjusting the EQ in my audio app leveled everything off perfectly for everything from country to rock and hip hop!FIT: I have trouble keeping most earbud in my ears, especially when moving around or working out. As long as you hook these over your ear and make sure the little rubber hoop locks into the inside of your ear... they aren't going anywhere! I've worn them over while working out, working around the house and jogging on the treadmill and they stay in place perfectly. I'm not sure how comfortable they would be after extended use, but they are find for a 2 hour workout.ANDROID APP: Kinda pointless in my opinion. You need to have the app open while connecting to bluetooth in order for it to see the ear buds. I initially changed the EQ settings and deleted the other 2 devices they were previously connected to (remember these were refurbished), but I don't really see myself using it for much else.BATTERY LIFE: I was a little worried at first... I topped off the case when I got it and it quickly went down to 2 out of 4 charge lights, but then it stayed there for a very long time. I think I was between 16 and 18 hours of usage when the case was finally down to zero (leaving me with 8 more hours in the earbuds). If my calculations are correct, that means I should be able to get the full 24 hours as advertised.FINAL THOUGHTS: I am very happy I chose these earbuds over the others I was looking at. Everyone's ears and thoughts of sound quality are different, but I would buy these again if I needed another pair.

Great for runners and they come with a 90-day return option.
I spent a lot of time looking for wireless headphones to wear while running. I read the reviews. I compared the statements about comfort, fit, sound quality, battery life, wind and water resistance. My conclusion: there are no perfect or even close to perfect headphones to be had at any price, and I was willing to pay the price. So, it came down to finding something that met most or some of my requirements. As a runner, sound quality comes in at about 4th on my requirement list, behind: 1. fit (they have to stay in place during a 5-hour run); 2. ability to hear ambient sound (I need to hear the car or bike coming up behind me or around the corner); 3. battery life (5 hours minimum); 4. finally, sound quality (really, I just need to hear and recognize the music). The problem with shopping for running gear is that you can’t always rely on product reviews or customer feedback to know if the product is going to work for you. Some things you really must try out under the conditions you intend to use it before you know if it’s going to work, and there aren't many retailers who are willing to allow you to do that. The Backbeat Fit Sport Earbuds are the only headphones I found where the retailer offered a 90-day tryout to determine whether the headphones were going to work for me (they do). They were steeply discounted because they are “Renewed”, but with a 90-day return period and the ability to purchase a 3–5-year service/warranty plan for under $5, I didn’t see a downside. The headphones work as well as l need them to, and it’s been over 90 days. That’s my long-winded endorsement to runners for the Backbeat Fit earbuds. It’s just a shame that Plantronics, or the company that purchased Plantronics, doesn’t still make them.

Love them other than that they don’t hold a charge.
I loved my last pair of plantronics. I’ve had them for 4-5 years and they’re still good but they are starting to break so I decided to try these despite reviews about not holding a charge. I ended up returning them because they held a charge for less than two hours and sometimes as little as half a hour. So frustrating because the sound is great and the comfort is unbeatable plus I like that they aren’t noise cancelling as I do a lot of trail running.

Great headphones
The headphones are great. I’ve been using this brand for years and love it. My only issue is that they often have issues while charging where they create a high pitched noise and/or stay on while they’re plugged in. This is my second pair that has had that issue. Otherwise I fully recommend them.

Great upgrade to my old plantronics
I was leary of changing styles having owed 2 other pairs of plantronics but I am so glad I did, not having the back strap has made wearing these even more comfortable to wear. I use these for everything from tasks around the house to running a cpl miles/hiking. The battery will last almost an entire day if you need to use them that long. The only "negative thing" I noticed was a difference in sound quality for the (power on) command voice however it doesn't effect the quality of whatever is being played (music, audiobook, binaural tones) making my overall review a suggested buy, especially for the price.

Issues charging the battery
Relatively short after, 6 months, I started to notice that was not charging when placed on the dock. Nothing I can do and I believe is a common problem with this model. Nevertheless, related with sound quality, is very good.

Calidad!
