So I don't particularly like using a standing board grater for cheese (to the point I will often just buy grated cheese so as to not bother). Growing up my parents had an antique rotary grater but it broke and I've never seen another like it. At the same time I am fond of making oven fries (just thinly sliced potatoes drizzled in oil and salt) but it takes a while to slice the potatoes thinly enough. When I saw this product I was skeptical it could do all that it claimed but to my delight it appears to do exactly that. 1) Pros-- The blades are exchangable. I read several reviews of people claiming they struggled to get the blades on and off but I have not had this issue. Once you work with it for a few minutes it is really straightforward. It comes with several options depending on what you want. It cleans easily. So long as you clean up right after preparing your food cheese and veggies rinse off quickly and without much issue. It's fast. With the waffle fry blades I can slice 2 potatoes in ~1min which is enough fries for my wife and I. A 1 lb. block of cheese does take longer but it's still considerably faster than a standing grater and has no risk of slicing your knuckles (slightly increased risk of mess since soft cheese will curl a little and can roll) Cons-- The suction at the bottom is very strong but also very sensitive. Any crumbs or specs are enough to break suction of the entire base. A minor issue if you clean up the counter right before using the grater. The geometry of the grater is really designed to feed into a bowl. I like to minimize dishes so I play around with where I can put the grater and a baking sheet or whatever else I'm using but I recognize that isn't what it was designed to do. Put a bowl in front of the output and this is a non issue. **Long term stability and endurance unknown** I usually would not offer thoughts on something like this until I'd had it a year or more (I've had it ~1mo now) but I was excited and wanted to share. Nothing is obviously wearing or breaking that I can tell but please bear in mind that I have no prediction if the parts will last 2 mo, 6 mo, or several years. Overall very happy with this and I'd recommend buying it if you are at all interested.

So got mine in today finally after waiting a month. It was an international order and got lost so reorders got it the next day. So I can see why everyone is singing the praise over this thing. WOW!!! Took it out of the box and was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy the thing is. The suction cup on the bottom that hold to your counter is VERRY strong. Once you suck it to the counter it’s not going any where. Blades were nice. Love the tray that they all fit in so you don’t have to worry about losing them. To change them out is very easy snap on and done. My only complaint would be the blade that slices isn’t that big and you can only slice thin cuts. I like how fast you can grate everything without the food hanging up on the blades. Today I shredded cheese, Potatoes and cucumbers and it did awesome!!! Very easy to assemble and disassemble. So all in all I would give this a 9 1/2 stars out of 10 and that’s only because for me I would have liked the slicer blade to be a bit larger for larger cuts. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!!! Happy Grating.🙂🙂

So very easy to use, easy to clean!

I love this grater!! After I bought one for myself, and took it to my daughter's house to make fresh coleslaw for a BBQ, all three of my daughters were jealous! I have bought this for gifts for all 3 plus one for a granddaughter!! It is so easy and fast to grate or slice anything, and cleaning is easy!! I have arthritis in my hands so I'm constantly looking for items to make kitchen time fast, and pain free. This is definitely my favorite!

Surprisingly Powerful Little Grater! I’ve gone through my fair share of handheld graters and rotary shredders, and this one from VEKAYA has genuinely impressed me. The first thing I noticed is the larger size compared to other rotary graters I’ve owned—both the feed port and the discharge area are wider, which actually makes a big difference. I can fit bigger chunks of cheese and vegetables without cutting everything into tiny pieces first. The set comes with five stainless steel blades, and they’re all sharp and easy to swap out. I’ve used it for cheese, carrots, zucchini, and even almonds, and everything shredded cleanly without clogging. The little storage box for the blades is a nice touch too. Assembly is super simple—everything clicks into place with a button/knob system—and it’s just as easy to take apart for cleaning. I love that it’s dishwasher-safe, because those tiny grater holes on traditional shredders are a nightmare to clean. The suction base is stronger than I expected. As long as your counter is smooth, it locks down tightly and doesn’t budge while cranking. If I had to nitpick, the only small downside is that it’s a bit bulkier to store because of its size, but the performance definitely makes up for it. Overall, this is a great kitchen gadget if you do a lot of shredding or slicing and want something safer and more efficient than a box grater. I’d buy it again!

This is one of the best graders I have ever used and trust me I have had my fair share! Not only is the blade quality Superior but the durability and sturdiness is without question one of the best. I like the convenience of having the blades stored in a convenient compartment. I liked it so much I even bought my sister one! I like the idea that it's lightweight yet durable and can be placed in different areas of the kitchen. If you have a countertop that is textured you can solve the vacuum seal problem by turning a glass plate upside down and placing the suction bottom onto the glass plate and locking it down. Once you start using it, you will use it at least 4 days out of the week. It's great for cheeses vegetables and fruits.

I purchased this product in Feb 2025 strictly to use it fo shredding cheese (vs buying nasty pre-shredded). For several months it worked great (grate?). Then the piece that holds the blades broke. I didn’t realize at first it was broken until the break caused the blades to dig into the plastic housing. I contacted the seller and within a day they reached out and said they would send replacement product (they did not specify if it was the entire product (which I don’t need) or only the piece that holds the blades. At first they communicated fine, but after about a week things went downhill. They told me the replacement would arrive one day, but then it didn’t (crap happens). I emailed them again and they said it would be another day. I asked for tracking information but the tracking numbers they gave me did not match any shipper. I asked for a link and they sent me a screenshot. I asked again for a link and they have now ghosted me. Their poor service is the reason for this lower score.

I love this machine. So easy to use and easy to clean. Just what I was looking for. i wash mine in the sink then rinse under hoy water. love it.

I never leave reviews, but for this item I made an exception. Due to having wrist problems, I'm unable to use a manual cheese grater anymore which was frustrating. Looked online for electric graters (food processors with attachment) but ended up getting this instead because it was 1/4 the price. I am shocked at how good this is, and wish I got it years ago! No more buying grated cheese with the powdery stuff on it, just buy the blocks and this does the rest. Great kit, don't let the simplicity of the design fool you. Easy to clean too!
