Cire TrudonLimited Edition Rose Poivree Candle, 9.5 oz

Let me preface this by saying, as a Trudon lover and having this exact candle routinely purchased from the website, it’s real. Same scent, same sticker (everything is by hand), same everything. But, I was very skeptical of purchasing a candle like this on Amazon. Especially after reading other reviews. But I thought, what the heck, it’s easy to return if it turns out to be fake…which probably isn’t how you should go into a purchase.What I will say is it’s real…but it’s a bit misleading because the image shows a clear glass rather than what it is, a white frosted one. And this is also true of the real deal. It’s a white frosted glass. I thought maybe since it was limited edition…it also came in the clear one too and maybe I had just missed its release.But I am keeping it as a backup to the one I already have. Still love it, the smell is amazing. We have a three bed condo, and it fills it up wonderfully. You can smell it in every room. My son and husband both don’t mind it, so that’s a win in my book!Hope this helps someone, cheers from SF 🤍✨

The rose smell is very light, mixed with other warm, woodsy fragrances. Not flowery. Nice throw, never tunnels. I love scented candles. Lately I've been experimenting with different luxury candles and haven't found better quality than Cire Trudon. I would burn only Cire Trudon if my budget allowed. Always an even burn, they smell luxurious, are gender neutral and the history of the candle maker is fascinating. I've never been disappointed with my Cire Trudon candle scents. Sometimes I'll read dozens of great reviews on a luxury candle, buy it and for one reason or another I'm disappointed. Not this brand. I've tried five Cire Trudon scents and everyone has been amazing. Known as the Rolls Royce of candles for a reason.

My husband ordered the White Vessel candle from my wishlist but we received the Odalisque. I’d say this is fake or damaged... something about it is just not right. It doesn’t burn evenly and the sticker is crooked on the glass. It smells nice but doesn’t have much of a throw. I didn’t want to hurt his feelings and send it back since it was a birthday gift and he was so proud of himself for buying a $115 candle. So I kept it. But perhaps be careful should you choose to order.
