Just what I expected
Julienne all my veggies. I just like the different shapes and so does my daughter. That is how I get her to eat some of her veggies and fruit.

Depends on what you want to cut...
This is my first mandoline, and yes there is a learning curve and yes, you should by cut-proof gloves. As far as this brand goes, you do get what you pay for obviously. If all you cut is zucchini, squash, hard plantains, and cucumbers then you will love this. If, like me, you also cut apples, tomatoes, potatoes, pears, and other thick-skinned items, then you are better off with a regular cheese grater or hand slicing because it will make mush of them, and all the slices will get stuck and you'll hate this slicer. As it is, I do enough of the former veggies so I kept it. And it really will save you time on those and make perfect slices. Overall, 3 stars

This product will bend and warp in the dishwasher. Don't buy it. I regret my purchase.
