The wood and foundatin are fine. Just needs to be wax better. They are sold as waxed foundation and have little to no wax on them.

Ordered these in the past, they have worked well on the hives and the bees really don't care as long as they have a framework to build comb on.

The cut in the top bar was not deep enough and the foundation bowed when inserted. I had 10 frames assembled before I inserted the foundation & noticed the problem. I was in a hurry to get the 100 frames built so I paid someone with a table saw to put the correct depth in it. Not a terrible thing but the seller was not willing to accept there was a problem.

Frames were a little tight putting together. Plastic foundation had a plastic smell. However, the bees are drawing them out.

I pre-drilled all my holes and glue all the joints making the frames last for years without splitting the ends. The wood quality was very good and most of the trimmed pieces required no sanding or fitting. The panels were free from damage and made perfectly. However, the box didn't come with nails.
