VIZIO Sound Bar for TV, 36” 2.1 Home Audio Surround Sound System for TV with Wireless Subwoofer and Bluetooth, (SB3621n-H8)

My new LG OLED55GXPUA television has surprisingly good speakers, but I decided to kick it up a notch by adding the VIZIO 36" Sound Bar with sub woofer. It's not a full surround sound setup and it's not ideal for a large living room, but it's an excellent affordable sound system for small to medium spaces. The VIZIO comes with almost everything you need, including a complete range of input connection cords. I chose the HDMI (ARC) which automatically interfaced and connected with my LG TV, TV remote and sub woofer. I needed to tweak the sound a bit so the base wasn't too "boomy" and used the "EQ" button to select "dialog" for TV entertainment. The sound is terrific, dialog clear and the HDMI allows the LG TV remote to control everything, including powering everything on and off with a single button. After the initial setup, I didn't need the the VIZIO remote. DOWNSIDE: the one, the only, downside is pretty annoying. The included mounting bracket is simply inadequate. It doesn't include the screws/anchors you need to mount it on the wall and the small bracket mashes the speaker bar almost flush against the wall with no room to feed the power or HDMI cords though. I ended up mounting the speaker bar with a MD5420 mount. So, with the exception of the lame mounting system, the 36" VIZIO sound bar with sub woofer earns a solid five stars.

Vizio sound bar won’t connect to my Vizio tv. Ridiculous the Bluetooth connects to my phone but not to the tv for the same company who makes it.. the sound is great but now I have to return because it’s useless for the reason I bought it. I knew I should have bought a sound bar with an hdmi connection. Smh. Very upset now I have to wait another week for a new sound bar to come in. Typical. Get yourself a sound bar with an HDMI CONNECTION and save yourself the trouble Update as of 1/16/21 as it turns out the digital connection cable sent to me by Vizio is not working. I actually replaced my Vizio tv with a Insignia Amazon fire tv 65 inch and it comes with a AUX cable slot which is working for me now (and Vizio is sending me a new digital cable). The sound bar is tremendous, great, loud, fresh bass, I’m very happy with this purchase now that it’s working. Another Update 2/6 Vizio sent me a new Digital cable and this one works and it connected easily. This sound bar sounds even better with less white noise than with the AUX. I can give this 5 stars. This was a extremely good purchase.

I was very pleased with this product. The quality is very good.

Nothing at all wrong with this sound bar. Easy to set up, sounds good in our down stairs movie room and has some bass to add some muscle to the action scenes in a movie or if you are listening to music that has bass. Reason not a 5 start is that while its good you can get distortion on the last 2 "dot" levels on volume. But everything works great, would highly recommend as your second TV sound bar where you want something to add volume and bump and this does that. Would not have it as my main sound bar bc I would want better higher volume quality and additional speakers, wattage. But this is great and I am picky so a 4 start is very good and value is hard to beat.

This sound bar subwoofer combo does exactly what you want from something like this . It just works! I used the digital output cable which they were nice enough to provide (these are not cheap cables) and it just worked . I had to change one setting on my TV that the manual walks you through to make it sound better but it worked without that . The subwoofer is the definition of plug and play . Plug in , turn on . Rich deep resonating sound . I put it behind the couch . No extra wires were needed . I could finally understand what people were saying as I have hearing that was damaged . Watch the Mandalorian on this and you’ll fall in love . I have very high ceilings and there was no sound degradation. Highly recommended.

Excellent buy!

I was so pleased with the sound of this system that I ordered a second one. When purchased, this second one was described as "new". When received, this was definitely not new. The box itself was damaged in various places because it obviously had been shipped multiple times. All the wiring and the remote control were not individually wrapped and was left to float around in the box. (The torn wrappers were still in the box.) It was not at all packaged like the first one I ordered. Fortunately, it works. And all the necessary parts were there. But I would hesitate to buy another one again just because it was not as described. I also should have gotten a "renewed" price since this was not a "new" item. The product gets 5 stars. The vendor gets 1 star.

Sounds amazing major upgrade from regular tv smart tv 4K makes playing music so much more fun and watching movies. Very nice crisp sound no distortion. I bought a mount that was universal and it wasn’t a snug fit but I got it to stick with double sided gorilla tape that can hold up 30lb and it grabbed my bar nice and snug so that issue was fixed another thing I didn’t really like is the factory VIZIO put the plug outlet INFRONT OF THE SPEAKER. I don’t know why they did that but no big deal l just layer the speaker down. As u can see in the picture it was super easy to connect. Hoping it last but I’m definitely happy with my purchase

Para nadie es un secreto que las pantallas modernas no tienen buen sonido y casi con cualquier tipo de bocina que le agregues va a sonar mejor. No soy experto en sonido ni tengo excelente oído, pero tengo toda la vida de utilizar equipos de audio profesionales y caseros, me encantan y he tenido o tengo varios Sony, ONKYO, JBL, Panasonic, Bosé, Logitech, etc. Dicho esto, vamos directo a la VIZIO SB3621n-H8 36" 2.1. Es un equipo relativamente económico, muy sencillo de instalar y con unos pocos ajustes que te pueden tomar unos 15 o 20 minutos puedes poner a punto el sonido de tal manera que vas a convertir tu pantalla en una sala de cine básica. Lo mejor que puedo decir de este equipo es que se vuelve casi inmediatamente invisible, al poco tiempo de utilizarla ya no la vas a ver ni vas pensar de donde viene el sonido, simplemente te va a arrastrar gentilmente a la experiencia de lo que estés viendo. Puedes lograr fácilmente que el sonido del equipo sea neutro y natural en buena medida gracias a que no tiene un sello auditivo propio muy notorio y a veces exagerado como los equipos Bosé o Sony. Tiene un buen amplio rango de bajos gracias al Sub que lo puedes ajustar a tu preferencia y los medios y agudos son buenos considerando el costo. La proyección del sonido estéreo es sutil debido a que no hay separación física de los canales, pero si se siente. Le da mucha claridad a los diálogos y en general tiene muy buen sonido. La tengo instalada en una recámara que es de 5x5m aproximadamente y la llena perfectamente (a mi en lo particular no me gusta escuchar las bocinas muy fuerte, pero si alcanza muy alto volumen antes de distorsionar o sonar desagradable). En resumen, si buscas mejorar tu experiencia al ver TV de una manera relativamente económica, no te vas a arrepentir, esta es de las mejores opciones a este precio. Para mejorar a este equipo vas a necesitar invertir al menos el doble para que sientas que valió la pena.

For $200CAD, the sound quality is really good, wireless subwoofer works amazing, comes with all the cables (even included optical cable!) you need to connect your tv. However, the Bluetooth only work and pair one device at a time, every time I want to switch between different devices I have to pair again.

Ordered the first one, came damaged on the side like it was dropped, returned the item and ordered a replacement, second one came in and it looked like it was dropped as well and had a bump in the sound bar Thought I would give it another shot and ordered third time. This time it came it good and brand new without any damage, so I bumped up my rating from 1 to 3 stars. But giving it only 3 stars because of the hassle. Otherwise the soundbar works great and is much better than the TV speakers. If you are looking for a basic sound system this is it. Great sound for the money and the Bluetooth sub can be placed anywhere on the room which is cool

Fallaron las bocinas traseras y nunca pude sacarle el sonido Atmos que buscaba,.lo vendí y compré un Samsung Q800D y es como la noche y el día de diferencia.

This sound bar is terrible, it randomly shutoff all the time! You have to keep the remote with you at all times. I've updated the firmware twice but still the same. I have two other Sony sound bars and they don't every randomly shut off. What a waste of money!
