Buyer beware
As others have noted (and I should have taken those reviews more seriously) the insulation is cut off too short. I would not even bother contacting the maker of these, considering the amount of care that went into making these cables, I can't lower my expectations enough to feel comfortable contacting their customer service. Edit: I repaired the cable. I wonder where I should send the invoice?

This cable came broken, from the seller. I'm not the only one to have this problem, they are cutting the insulation too short when they are assembling the cables. Great overseas quality control example, right here.... You get what you pay for.
