I wanted to start using my old, everyday Sheaffer fountain pen but didn't want to have to fork out for new cartridges or a converter. I took a punt on these syringes (under £4) in the hope that they'd work as well as the hype. I had one empty cartridge left in the pen and in less than 2 minutes I had filled it with my preferred ink - no mess, no fuss, no leaks. I'm very pleased :) As someone who often leaves my pen idle for several minutes and finds it frustrating to pick it up to use only to find the ink has dried and I need to encourage the ink to flow again, it's great to be able to use my preferred ink that continues to flow easily after a period of no use (several minutes with the top off, or several days with the top on). Four quid well spent.

This does exactly what I wanted. Fitting the needle to the syringe via. a tiny plastic adaptor is a bit fiddly, and requires a surprising amount of force to push home. It MUST be seated properly as the last thing you want is leaks! I think the makers could improve on this, but otherwise it's fine.

I never imagined that the ritual of filling my fountains pens could get anymore enjoyable until I discovered these little gems! Now the whole process is slick, once I'd worked out how to fit it together! I didn't get covered in ink or knock the ink bottle over. I have a little syringe now for each of my coloured inks. Great device and have already bought another pack to keep at work.

Needed some syringes to aid refilling of end of work fountain pen. Looks complicated to fit together but once assembled works perfectly. A really good purchase

Bought originally to help re ink some awkward ones instead of using a syringe Fits my Lami Safari clone, which came with the worst converter ever that prefers to fall apart than work as intended (what did I expect for less than £2 for the whole pen?) It transforms its usability into a solid faff free performer Very happy Glad they came in a 5 pack as they are handy for a quick one handed transfer type scenario's

Incompatible with my Parker Vector fountain pens unfortunately. Good value as it’s multiple pieces for so cheap, and they seem robust enough. Will find another use for them for something.

OK, such a simple "thing" shouldn't cause so much surprise really...but these fountain pen refill syringes work really very well. I have been using some ageing small 0.5ml medical syringes that I purchased about 20yrs ago, so had started to get a little messy when refilling the reservoirs of my fountain pens, these make the refill operation much easier and cleaner, so highly recommended if you want to use a fountain pen with bottled ink rather than cartridges...

Quick delivery and does the job just like i hoped. It helps pulling out the ink from the bottom of my bottles. Can easily recommend!

Definitely get these for those half full ink bottles or just to avoid inky fingers. Good quality and works well. Great price for the quantity. Makes filling up ink barrels easy and they clean well.
