Haeger Natural Stone Baking Dish, Square: White

I purchased the 9x13 Haeger stoneware baking dish when my very old glass (Pyrex) baking dishdeveloped a diagonal crack. I like this stoneware baking dish very much but, as a single woman,mostly cooking only for myself, it really is larger than I need. So, I came back to Amazon andbought the square Haeger stoneware baking dish and use it much more often. I have no complaintsabout my Haeger stoneware. It is well made, sturdy, and easy to care for. The interior surfacedoes develop some food stains, and they tell you that in the user's guide. The stains on mystoneware are few and do not bother me at all. There is one thing to consider when decidingwhether to buy this stoneware and that is that it is very heavy. I am elderly and have lost afair amount of strength in both hands due to pervasive arthritis. I am able to use it but haveto be very careful when handling it. I would not go back to glass baking pans. Stoneware is notgoing to crack or suddenly explode in your oven. Try it, you'll like it!

Wonderful product. Cheaper than pampered chef and just as good. Food cooks evenly in it and it is basically a non stick piece.

I debated whether I should buy this dish or the Le Creuset baking dish. I bought this instead because it was a deeper dish and I need the extra depth for scalloped potatoes, etc. I was sorry I bought it the second I got it out of the box. It is very rough inside. I was even sorrier when I read the enclosed information telling me that discoloration of the interior was normal with use. It is still sitting on my counter top. I tried to give it away but my sister wouldn't take it. I don't like a rough sandpaper interior, and nowhere in the online description was that fact mentioned. Also, I like a dish to look CLEAN when I have washed it, not stained. I don't use Pam cooking spray or any cooking spray but that is what the info tells me I must do. I would not recommend buying this baker. I think these facts were serious omissions in the description of the product. I wish I had purchased the Le Creuset instead.

I purchased this product to replace one from Pampered Chef that I had used for over ten years. This was less expensive than a replacement from PC. I was worried about the quality since I love PC products so much. This product arrived quickly, with great packaging, and it cooks just as great as my PC one did.

I bought both this piece and the 11 X 14 pan about 6 months ago. I am very pleased with them. Not only are they attractive, but they clean up beautifully. Unlike the other review, mine was very smooth inside.

Love their stoneware. Bummed they closed the factory.

I love this pan! The more I use it, the better. As a previous reviewer wrote, the inside will stain, but it looks (in my opinion) and cooks better with age. EASY clean-up. Would not hesitate in recommending this product.
