Good product
This mineral oil works very well for conditioning cutting boards and other wooden kitchen items. It absorbs nicely into the wood and helps restore moisture, leaving surfaces looking refreshed and well-maintained. The oil is easy to apply and spreads evenly without feeling overly greasy when used in moderation. It’s also food-grade, which makes it a safe option for kitchen use on items that come into contact with food. Overall, this is a simple but effective wood conditioner that helps protect and extend the life of cutting boards and wooden utensils.

REVISED Great for restoring appearance of kitchen wooden utensils and surfaces.
Revised Review: Revision Date: 01 May 2020 When I received this product I input a review without having had a chance to use it. Therefore I gave a provisional approval for the Product. I NOW GIVE THE Food Grade Mineral Oil for Cutting Boards, Countertops and Butcher Blocks - Food Safe and Made in the USA MADE AND MARKETED by THIRTEEN CHEFS AN Absolute and unequivocal approval. The product meets 100% of my Needs. This product is easy to apply, has no discernible scent and is completely absorbed into the wood. No sticky or oily residue. The knives and butcher blocks look wonderful and more importantly the moisturized items have had their useful lives extended. I will continue to use this product as it is perfect for my needs. Thank You Thirteen Chefs! Jay Parrish Review Date: Manufacturer: 26 Apt 2020. Thirteen Chefs Product: Food Grade Mineral Oil for Cutting Boards, Countertops and Butcher Blocks - Food Safe and Made in the USA Review: I have used Food Grade Mineral Oil for over 20 years. I have given the Thirteen Chef’s a “test run”, and have found it to be a top quality product and with a 12 fluid ounce bottle, I consider this product to be a good value. Food grade mineral oil is used to treat the handles of wood handled knives, wooden spoons, butcher blocks, butcher block counter tops, and wooden cutting boards. The mineral oil replaces the natural oils that the Wood contains when new. Through the washing process the wooden components mentioned above the oils are leached out of the wood, causing the original color to degrade and in the process, reduces the longevity of the wood. - [ ] The treatment process is simple. Wipe the oil on the wood to be treated, rub it in for about 30 seconds, set it aside on a hard “non porous” surface ( like a dinner plate) for between 12-24 hours, and your good to go. - [ ] The only exception to this would be for the treatment of utensils which have not ever been treated. In this case, several treatments may be required to bring the item being treated back to a pleasing appearance. - [ ] In the case of wooden spoons and other wooden cooking utensils, the oil having soaked into the items being treated, gives the item more flexibility and reduces the chance of breaking a utensil which has become brittle through the loss of its natural oils. - [ ] It is not advisable to use other Food Grade oils such as oil oil or vegetable cooking oils as they do not soak into the woods cellular structure as well and tend to leave a sticky residue on the surface and the stickiness increases over time.

Makes everything look great
This mineral oil worked perfectly for my new teak cutting board. Makes it easy to clean up the board with just a damp wash clothe. There is no color, smell, or overly tick oil. It is not sticky or to thin or too thick. It applied perfectly and so easy. I have used a lot of mineral oil in the past especially on stainless steel equipment such as a grinder, mixer, and laundry sink that is stainless steel. I rub off small spots of rust starting and then oil down the whole inside and outer area down about twice a year and it keeps it looking good and keeps it from rusting. Theis size of bottle will last me a good long time and this is a good mineral oil and a great value. The size of bottle and the amount is great because even at this size it looks like I didn't use any to do each side of my huge cutting board. My board is brand new and I wanted to seal it before I used it. Works perfect with no grit and you don't have to use much to cover even a large board.

Great product this is keeping my butcher block countertops moisturized and durable. There is never a mark from anything I put on my countertop. There is very little odor and it goes on thick but drys quickly. Great value!

Excellent Food-Grade Mineral Oil for Restoring and Protecting Wood Surfaces
I've used this mineral oil on several wooden cutting boards and a butcher block countertop, and it works exactly as expected. The oil goes on smoothly, absorbs well, and really brings dry wood back to life without leaving a sticky or greasy residue. I also like that it's food-grade, so I feel comfortable using it on surfaces that come into contact with food. A little goes a long way, and the 8 oz bottle has lasted much longer than I expected. It helped restore the natural color of my boards and keeps them from drying out and cracking. The bottle is easy to use, and the oil is clear and odorless. I've even used it to maintain some kitchen tools and metal parts that needed light lubrication. Overall, this is a simple, high-quality product that does exactly what it's supposed to do. If you own wooden cutting boards, butcher blocks, or kitchen tools that need occasional conditioning, this is a great product to keep on hand. Highly recommended

When Non-DIYers Need to DIY
I'm not a Bob the Builder type of person - my tool collection is basically a screwdriver and good intentions. But my beautiful French wood table was looking a bit sad and needed a serious glow-up. As someone who likes to understand ingredients and chemicals, I did my research before settling on this product and here's why it won me over: Love the ingredients: 100% pure food-grade mineral oil Colorless, odorless, tasteless, and gluten-free No harsh chemicals or mystery additives Made in USA with FDA-compliant facilities The application experience: I applied it with a simple paper towel - no fancy tools needed! I did two applications separated by a week (Sunday night self-care sessions). The table was ready to use the next day, which was perfect for my lifestyle. Condo-friendly application: Living in a condo means no garage or dedicated workspace. I was nervous about staining floors or nearby furniture, but this stuff is incredibly forgiving. Applied it right where the table sits, and cleanup was effortless - no marks, no mess. The results (because, yes, that's what you're all interested in knowing!) My table looks absolutely stunning! You can still feel the natural wood texture, it's protected from stains, and there's zero smell (crucial for small spaces). The wood has that healthy, nourished glow that makes me want to run my hands over it. I'm actually planning to treat my table 1-2 times per year now. One bottle will last forever, and honestly, I've started enjoying these little table-care rituals. 10/10 recommend - perfect for fellow non-DIYers who want professional results without the drama!

Great oil, great results
After testing a bunch of cutting board oils that all had some smell, weird texture and so on...I finally tested this one. It truly has no smell, spreads well, wood absorbs it deeply and it enhances the woods texture beautifully. Definitely will buy again

'Food safe' - great for chopping boards and kitchen utensils.
'Food safe' is the most important feature here. Great for people making chopping boards or wooden kitchen utensils. A really neutral finish so just enhances the natural wood rather than stain it. Definitely use in a well ventilated area as it has quite the 'kick' to it.

Prodotto fantastico!
Ho il lavelli in granito nero. La differenza quando gli passo questo olio é impressionante! Il colore diventa più intenso, lascia una finitura lucida molto gradevole. Nasconde graffi e discromie. Davvero ottimo!
