Excellent hunting/fishing gloves
The KastKing PolarBlast Ice Fishing Gloves in size XL fit perfectly and performed admirably during my recent outings. While designed primarily for ice fishing, I also found them to be very effective for hunting. Their versatility is a standout feature, as they quickly convert from cold weather mittens to fingerless gloves. One of the highlights of these gloves is the built-in magnets, which hold the thumb and finger flaps securely out of the way. This design allows for full finger movement without any obstructions, making tasks like baiting hooks or handling gear much easier. Additionally, the finger pull loops are incredibly handy for quickly removing the gloves without hassle. Although the gloves are on the thinner side, they provided sufficient warmth while ice fishing in temperatures around 10°F. The non-slip palm is another practical feature, offering a solid grip, which is crucial when handling slippery fish or gear. Overall, the KastKing PolarBlast Ice Fishing Gloves are a solid choice for anyone who needs functional, versatile hand protection in cold weather. They strike a great balance between warmth, dexterity, and convenience. Highly recommended!

Warm and Comfortable
KastKing has done their homework and know what fishermen need. These fishing gloves/mittens are perfect for me. I do a lot of trolling on my boat in cold weather and need my fingers readily available once a fish is on, and these gloves allow me to have the mitten part over my fingertips while trolling and flip them up quickly to have finger access when I have "fish on". They are very warm, comfortable, and fit really well if you use the size chart and measure your hand. There are strong magnets that hold the mitten to the back of your hand, and they even have the same system for the thumbs. I really like the grip material in the palm, and how easy they are to put on and remove.

Good, not great
These are good but not the most durable quality. Provide just above average cold-weather protection. Excellent when coupled with a hand warmer in the finger pocket (back of fingers side).

Great winter glove
These KastKing gloves are a real game changer on the ice. I brought them out ice fishing with me and I really enjoyed the functionality from being able utilize my fingers while still being able to cover them with a mitten style glove to keep them warm as needed. I would definitely recommend this to any ice fisherman or someone looking to work outside who needs a functional glove. They also have grip pads on the inside of the palms which makes gripping easier, without worrying about dropping things. These feel very high quality and they will last me a long time as they have an adjustable string to tighten around my wrist. Overall I am a big fan of these gloves.

Not ideal for someone with Reynauds.
These aren't bad or poor quality, but they don't keep my hands very warm. Because your fingers are separated by so much fabric, they can't share warmth. Also, just about any use of your hands makes the flap slip off your fingers. I do like that these have a little finger pocket to help you pull the gloves off. I also think the magnet to hold the finger flap back is really clever. I really wanted to like these, but they are about the last hand coverings I reach for when I need something warm. I have Raynaud's, and I guess for me, it's going to have to be mittens (with no finger separation) from now on.

Great Gloves for any Occasion!
From the early AM to the late PM, these gloves didn't let me down and kept my hands and fingers warm while I was ice fishing. The outside of the gloves definitely have a resistance to water. I never believe a glove will be able to, but don't expect them to keep your hands dry if you have to submerge your whole hand in the water past the wrist. They are easy to remove since they have finger loops on each pointer and middle finger. I recommend these, and if something would happen to mine, I will get a replacement set.

Great gloves
Very happy with purchase.Wore them out hunting. It was very windy out and just over 30 degrees, these kept hands warm and dry and would be just fine in even colder weather. I have skinnier hands and tucking the thumb flap took a little getting use to. Magnets worked as they should. Nice grip on the palm. Seem decently made. Right size thickness to keep warm and dry, the windproof is true to its word.

Worst gloves ever for snow shoveling
Most frustrating pair of gloves I’ve ever own. But disclaimer: I used them for snow shoveling and not for skiing. So perhaps they work great for skiiing, but they are horrible for snow shoveling or any activity you are trying to use your hands. First of all the thumb part WILL NOT STAY IN place. They keep flipping back no matter what you do. This caused snow and ice to come into direct contact with my thumbs and also allowed snow and ice to creep into and under the glove. My things were freezing! Second, the flap part on the palms of my hands kept allowing snow and ice to creep into and under the glove too. So by the time I was finished shoveling, the entire glove was soaking wet along with my hands, again, my hands were frozen!. Third, the fabric on the palms wore away and now there’s a hole where you grip a shovel. See pics of the worn away fabric and holes. To be clear, I was doing very heavy snow shoveling, so these gloves were probably not meant to be used for such rigorous activity. So again, maybe these work just fine for light gripping of a ski pole. But these are terrible for snow shoveling. I will say, that if the thumb part stayed in place and if the flap on the palms stayed in place, my hands would have been very warm and toasty because they did seem pretty thick. Bottom line, these gloves are worthless for snow shoveling…they were destroyed after a few hours of use. But maybe they are good for skiiing. Two stars only because they seem like they would be warm if the thumb part stayed in in place.
