Perfect
After reading some of the reviews i was a little worried about the quality and finish on the net but still ordered it and im so glad i did! It’s well made seems like its gonna be durable, fits the round bales easily and the holes are small enough so it slows my big mare down with minimal mess and waste.

Didn't last more than 2 weeks before useless
1st bale of hay was covered successfully with zero issues, (although the top thread/loops that string went through was missing going through loops and was like it was threaded in a rush tbh.) my horses are used to bale nets and have used them for years, and arent shod/they are barefoot so never had an issue with getting caught on barefeet. decided to treat myself to a new one as the other bale net I had had many years, and the thread/material had started to get weaker, and due to being dark blue at the end of the bale it was hard to find the net buried in the hay and mud so bright green sounded perfect!2nd bale of hay (which I rotated being used with the old bale net due to how wet and yukky it was I didn't wanna put it on a fresh bale, so I allowed it to dry naturally between bales.) Anyway the 2nd bale as I was putting it on I realised that the horses had managed to chew/make holes in it in that 1st week of use. Never before have any of my horses put a hole in a haynet, they never run out so wasn't done out of frustration either, I patched up the 3 holes, frustrated that the old bale net was 5+ years old and never had a hole in it atall. And within 3 days they had ripped more holes in it that it was pointless it even being on the bale anymore, and due to lamenetic ponies and needing to restrict their diet it was beyond repairable and in less than 2 bales it was useless and I threw it away. I don't know if the material was defected and faulty and a one off bad one or if the whole lot that is made is using a bad quality material to keep costs down, but it won't work out a bargain now that I have to buy a replacement.

DANGEROUS
THIS PRODUCT IS CHEAP, WEAK AND DANGEROUS AND SHOULD NOT BE USED AROUND SMALL TO MEDIUM SIZED PONNIES AS THIER HOOFS FIT THROUGH THE LARGE HOLES, POTENTIAL BROKEN LEGS.Also takes forever to refund

Lasting well
Was worried after reading reviews that product was not made to last and was starting to consider spending 200+ on another brand. So glad I didn't mine has lasted 4 bales 4 very hungry horses through rain wind sun and snow and still going strong. Even if it doesn't last me right trough next winter I feel like it's done a good job so far 🙌

Edited review - lasted 3 months
Edited: A few months later and the net is virtually useless. It’s too flimsy and started breaking, first they were football sized holes and I tried tying the twine back together. Now they’re enormous - an adult person could climb through. Both horses are elderly (in their 20’s) so are far from rough or strong and have never broken a standard haynet but they simply press down against the net (which they should be doing as it’s a ground feeder) and it snaps. This has wasted so much hay and creates a hazard as a horse could get tangled. Thrown it away.Original review: I am so pleased I bought this! I use round bales for my horses and SO much gets wasted every time as the bale collapses then gets used as a bed, a toilet, trodden into mud or just blows around the field. I was throwing away up to a quarter of every bale. Now I have virtually no waste (other than the odd strands as they pull through and get stomped into the mud - true of any haynet) and the bale last over a week (previously 4 days!)I won’t lie, it’s an effort to put on because you flip the bale twice but worth it.My horses are unshod so no risk of getting the net caught on a shoe - happy horses, happy owner!

Holes in it already
Had hay in it for three days and horses have already got holes in it. Not very hard wearing. Would not purchase again
