best fur remover
This is hands-down the best fur removal tool I've come across, and I have bought almost everything available. I like that it is natural, unlike plastic removal tools. It is incredibly effective with little effort. It is wonderful at getting those hairs that get trapped in the weave of the fabric, the kind most tools just don't have enough grip to get out. It isn't going to wear out, isn't going to break. I have a mattress cover that pills horribly when washed, and almost gave it up as hopeless, but fur-zoff took all the the pilling off quicker than a fabric shaver could. For the price and ease, this is the first and only fur removal tool a person needs

Amazing Results. A Must Have for Any Pet Owner
First I’d like to say to those who rated this product with 1 or 2 stars . . . You must be doing it wrong! After spending a full day trying to vacuum white dog hair out of my Jeep's black carpet, I went on YouTube and many detailers recommended the Fur-Zoff product. I ordered one and it showed up the next day (Amazon Prime is awesome!). I'm amazed at how the stone grabs the dog hair embedded in the carpet, and allows me to sweep it into a pile where I can then suck it up with a ShopVac. A Few Tips. Remember. . the stone is designed to grab the hair (to pull it out of the carpet), then release the hair so you can pile it up and remove it. The hair does not stick to the stone. . . nor should it. Always use a very lite sweeping motion. The more delicate the fabric, the lighter the sweeping motion. I would not recommend using this on delicate fabrics like silk or nylon. It will snag and tear the fine fibers and ruin the fabric. Works great on carpet and heavy upholstery. Could possibly be used on cotton or cotton blend bed sheets, but it would tear satin sheets up. Keep it away from nylon and plastic trim pieces! It will scratch them. When you order this also order a rubber bristle brush for getting up close to the plastic trim and vinyl in your car. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Chemical-Guys-ACC_S06-Professional-Removal/dp/B0042B4B3U/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=rubber+bristle+brush&qid=1557857192&s=automotive&sr=1-2 Fur-Zoff, a rubber bristle brush, and a shop vac. The winning pet hair removal recipe!

Initially disappointment but then...!
This didn't work as well as I hoped it would IN MY VEHICLE (plz continue to read). It took the majority of the dog hair out of my vehicle but I was disappointed in the end results (I'm pretty picky). One of the challenges I have with using it is that the back of my SUV has a ribbed pattern so as I drew the tool over the carpet, the shape prevented it from hitting all the carpeted areas. It would skip across and miss places. I had to constantly try to change the directional use of the remover to try to hit these spots and it was just awkward. I also didn't realize it was a large pumice stone until I received it. I had a couple at home already and could have experimented with those prior to ordering this one to see if it was going to meet my needs. I just never thought about using a pumice stone for this activity. So I want to give the creators of this a big kudo for coming up with this use. BUT THEN! I was having terrible trouble getting stains out of my toilet. I'd gone to the local box stores and purchased pumice stones that didn't work at all. I was going to give this stone to my building's cleaning lady and, as I had complained about my toilet challenges, she told me to go home and use it on the toilets. I doubted her recommendation but IT WORKED!! I asked her why and she said it was a much better stone that I could buy in the box stores and asked for the link to the location I bought this one from. I'm saving this link because while I wasn't happy with how it worked in my vehicle, I LOVED HOW IT CLEANED MY TOILETS! Thank you!!!

10,000 stars for this! Get it, go forth, and de-fur with confidence!
So after years of being That Person (you know, That Person - the one no one wants to ride with because it looks like a billion Tribbles exploded in their car?), I finally decided enough is enough. Then I looked at my wallet and realized getting it professionally detailed is out. Ugh. Folks. I cannot tell you how many google searches I did for the best way to get pet hair out of upholstery. I cannot tell you the amount of time, energy, and swearing I've spent trying to get fur out of my car. It's like someone glued it down. I tried kitchen gloves, various attachments on the shop vac, my vacuum, sprays, squeegees, brushes, rollers, tears, and offerings of the finest shampoos. Nothing has worked even half as well with even literally 10x the effort. NOTHING. So. I was watching a youtube video where this guy was using this pumice stone thing, and thought it looked promising. Amazon to the rescue! I have to say, I 100% agree with the packaging but hey, function over form, amiright? HOLY CANOLIES, PEOPLE. THIS THING GOT TONS OF FUR ON THE FIRST SWIPE. Subsequent shorter swipes got the rest in seconds. Who knew how satisfying it is to see a swath of clean upholstery??! This is something worthy of UFYH (google it - worth looking at before/after pictures for inspiration when you have a mess and also have a bad case of the I Don't Wannas.). After spiking my imaginary football and doing a rather obnoxious end zone touchdown dance, I went to work and ultimately filled up a plastic grocery bag with fur. Kind of horrifying to actually SEE what is under those seats. I will note that I was initially nervous to use this on the seat part of my car seats. They're normal upholstered seats, I wasn't sure if it would mar them. I am relieved to report, it did NOT damage anything! Didn't even leave little streaks behind. Just be careful not to scrape this along the plastic of your console and trim. I have not scratched mine, but I don't want to and I'm pretty sure this would leave a mark. Most likely buffable, but still. There are a lot of different ways to scrape, and for me personally, different methods work better for different areas. For example, long, straight swipes in the back floorboards vs short swipes that push everything to a central spot you can pick up in the front floor board. Other areas it's best to use the very tip of it with short swipes when you're getting into areas close to scratchable surfaces, like the plastic of your console and trim or when you’re trying to get the cracks between the seat (don’t forget to recline your front seats all the way – it really helps). And be sure to have a trash bag right there with you, as you'll need to pull fur off the stone occasionally as well as the fur you scrape into a pile. Watch out for dust and pebbles when opening the package, and some bits of this bar may initially flake off. No big deal, just DO NOT open around your child's/pet's face or anything. This was great for everything except, obviously, the space between the console and the side of the seat. I didn’t want to scratch the plastic console, and I still don’t know of a good way to clean that space. Stuff NEVER got in those spaces when I had Drop Stops in there (another amazing Amazon purchase, thank you!) https://smile.amazon.com/Drop-Stop-Original-Patented-Filler/dp/B00BYH6C1E/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1506617195&sr=8-3&keywords=stop+drop so if you haven’t heard about those, look them up. They were on Shark Tank. Also, for those of us with sensitive skin: To me, this feels like one of those natural, real sea sponges that are super hard. I'm hoping most of you won't understand what I'm talking about, but sometimes this gives me the willies to touch directly. Or maybe it's just that I am expecting to get the willies, so I do. Whatever. When that happens, I just put on some work gloves. I get the willies with natural raw wood and styrofoam, so maybe it's just me. So, 10,000 stars for this! Get it, go forth, and de-fur with confidence!

Works as expected but..
The product works well but leaves a chalky residue on my black truck seats and makes them look dirty. The residue doesnt brush off either.

Works great
HOLY MOLY where has this been my whole life....!?! We got a golden retriever puppy about a year ago and have been struggling to find ways to clean up his shedded hair off our couch and other items. I had been using a squeegee on the couch from a “hack” I found on a website. It worked fine but didn’t get everything and it was VERY labor intensive... you definitely break a sweat. I wanted to find something that wouldn’t take as much effort and gave me the same results. I had found this product on Buzzfeed and thought I’d give it a try. For $11, why not? The day we got this I got home late and wanted to go to bed because I was tired but wanted to try this before I went to bed. I ended up staying up late because I tested this on one small section of our couch and was so amazed I stayed up and cleaned the WHOLE couch LOL. It is so satisfying to clean with!!! And it gets EVERY hair. It’s incredible!! I’ve used it on some other things but have to be gentle when using it since it is very porous and can tear or snag certain materials... but I used it on a couple pairs of leggings and it worked and didn’t ruin them. I would say buy this if you’re on the fence. I mean it’s only a few bucks and well worth it.

10/10 Would Recommend!
First and foremost, I have an old, chonky grey cat, a 135lb Blue Great Dane and a 12 week old Harlequin (White w/ black spots) Great Dane... Obviously purchasing a green velvet sofa was not a well thought out decision, but here we are. Now, to be fair, I did do a once-over with the lint roller, but you can't exactly brush anything off of velvet (I did NOT have to go over my other non-velvet furniture with the lint roller). This stone is awesome. It did exactly what it says it does, and tbh, I would have paid the ten bucks just because it removed the dog dust and Dorito crumbs from the tufts! The rest was just an added bonus. *A few notes: The first thing I did was rub the stone on concrete to wear down the really rough edges. My furniture is either old and delicate, too new to justify piling, or... velvet. So, there's that. I found that holding either the flat or rounded side made it difficult to clean the velvet sofa as I had to press down harder, causing it to catch in the tufts. I had an easier time holding the side (still horizontal, not the ends), and using the other. I did not have to do this with my other furniture. Creating a smaller, pointed (but still rounded) edge on one end of the stone, helped get between the cushions and in those tufts. On the other end, I created a flat, sharper edge to clean piping crevasses and zipper seams. Overall, great product. No gimmicks, smoke, or mirrors, just an ugly stone that does exactly what it says it should. 10/10 would recommend.

Professional dog walker approved!! IT WORKS!
I am a professional dog walker (actually I'm a dog hiker). I take 5-8 dogs packing hiking off leash on approved trails in the foothills and canyons surrounding the Salt Lake valley every weekday morning, rain, snow or shine for 3-5 miles. I have an old Honda Odyssey minivan that is my dedicated 'dog van' that I used to pick them up, go hiking and drop them off every day. Needless to say, that poor van gets DIRTY despite my best efforts. The worst is the dog hair. It gets EVERYWHERE in the van and when it gets stuck in carpet and on cloth seats, it won't just vacuum up, even with my super heavy duty shop vac! That's where this little ugly duckling comes in. If I didn't have this, it would take me SO much longer to get my van clean each weekend and stay ahead of the fur crisis. I use this to gather the hair together in clumps and then I can vacuum it up with ease. A few things you should know about this besides the fact that it works: 1) It generates a lot of static, so you'll need to have something to suck the hair off the thing when you're done or will have to periodically pull it off manually. 2) It is NOT fun to touch and hold bare handed. You can easily scratch yourself or your nails and frankly, I've got goosebumps just typing this and imagining holding it. It has a certain 'nails on a chalk board' essence that I don't care for one bit. That being said, if you use a glove or a silicone jar opener to hold it while you use it, it makes it very tolerable. I think they would do well to include a glove or some sort of holder for it! 3) You have to be very careful to only use it on soft surfaces because it WILL scratch the crap out of anything plastic, metal, wood etc. For example, when using it on the seat of my car, if I go over the spot on the armrest where there is a plastic piece that allows the arm to pivot up and down, it WILL (and has) scratch it up really badly. You have to use a lot of care and work around those types of surfaces. Those caveats aside, this thing really really works and is a absolute must have in my dog van! I can definitely recommend!!

This is a Miracle!
I use this every single day at my house! My dog was very sick recently, and she was losing so much fur I was going crazy! This saved my life! It was perfect. I love it! Just make sure that you don't use it on vinyl, nylon, or plastic because it will scratch it! Also, don't use so much pressure and brushing the hair off sofas or couches because it can stretch the fabric!
